I walked into sephora in Copenhagen and it was on display so that’s odd. They had 3 pallets on display. I only briefly looked at the others and they were much cheaper (maybe £39 equivalent) and very plain neutral colours with no glitter in sight. I wonder if the AC pallet is last years winter palette and they will release a new one for this year.

I've just managed to pick up the medik8 face cream on vinted at a great price so I can pop it in my CB calendar 🥰 I feel annoyed at cult beauty that I've had to buy it elsewhere, I don't trust them to send me out a replacement. If they do, then I'll have 2 and that's fine, but I didn't want to be without. Also picked up the ab body cream from a mnetter. I'm hoping it fits in a drawer some where. I was going to list the temple spa and pop the ab in that drawer but I think the ab will be too big.

It really was , I loved it . I’ll console myself with my Penhaligans which is incredible. I also have the Liberty and Anthropology so I’m not hard done by .

Oh I really like the Diptyque calendar and wish I had more spare funds for it 😭 I actually much prefer this years selection over last years. I don’t think the items are less generous than last years? I asked ChatGPT to compare last years and this years spoilers and it said this:

No — this year’s Diptyque advent calendar is not materially less generous than last year’s. It has the same 25 products, the same 9 candles (385g total) and the same 50ml of eau de parfum, with broadly equivalent body-care products and the same number of larger-format items. The main difference is the mix rather than the quantity: some 2026 substitutions may feel less luxurious, but the overall amount of product is essentially comparable.

I'm also hugely disappointed. The box is quite nice, but I am not interested in a load of 35g candles (and 2 x 70g ones) plus other bits for £420. Ill just go to the Diptyque counter at Fenwick and buy a couple of my favourite 190g candles instead.

There's a spend £10, get £10 offer at Harrods - in store and online. Spend £10 on beauty and get £10 worth of rewards points for MyBeauty members. Does this mean I can mentally decide the 12 days hair and body ac is £89, rather than £99? The reviews on the Kayali perfumes aren't good. Maybe I should just order the Rehab shower milk.

That’s the thing for me , the majority of candles are minuscule and won’t throw much scent . I’m going to treat myself to a large Feu de Bois and Orpheon perfume instead .

Oh just seen the price increase of Diptyque. Last year’s was £399 and this years is £425. So it is less generous in terms of value I guess. And I agree, last years box was so whimsical, I loved it.

Me too! I am going for Feu De Bois and one of the seasonal offerings once I've seen what they are. In the past Ive had Nazereth, Gingembre and Gabriel

Ive just seen the price of the dypteque calendar. Ill give it a miss. Didnt realise it was so pricey.

At £425, the 2026 Diptyque Advent Calendar contains approximately £552 worth of products at current RRP, giving you around £127 of extra value

so it’s not a massive bargain I guess.

For those who preordered the Harrods BAC, have you received it in line with the 'expected dispatch from...' date in your order email? Mine says from the 10th so I'm really hoping it's coming soon but wondering if it could still be a while.

I wouldn't mind when I received it, but given their track record and how popular it is this year I'm nervous it will sell out and they'll never send it!

The AB cream isn't that big. It might be fine.

I’m not sure they are really following that. Mine said delivery from the 10th but they sent it early last week. 🤷‍♀️

Mine arrived 2 days after I ordered it but there seems to be no rhyme or reason to how Harrods manage their dispatch.

@namechange0998776554799000 Mine says from the 10th too. When I check the tracking details, it still says the order is being processed, which is two steps before 'in transit'. The calendar shows as in stock on the website so I'm not worrying yet. Grumbling though, obviously, I'm good at that 😄

My Gatineau one has arrived and I'm really pleased with it, it's 12 days not 24 but a great price point, very pretty and lots of full size products and decent large samples. I love and use their skin and body care so I know I will use everything in it.

I was tempted by this but I need to check what I have in the two unopened summer bags I purchased to see if the products are similar.
