My daily check in with Beauty Calendar revealed the YSL BAC. Oh my, but it’s gorgeous and I thought a good price for a super luxury AC. A “clutch” (bag presumably) is mentioned but I can’t see it in the photo.
As I’ve already 3 ACs in the pipeline, I won’t be purchasing it but for me, it looks stunning.

Couture Clutch is the name of the eyeshadow palette. This year it's shade 720 Captivating Dunes - which I quite fancy but not unless the advent goes on a big discount. Most other stuff is very mini sizes.

Re mini sizes, I’ve just had a closer look at the JL 12 day candle AC and I couldn’t figure out how big the candles are. It says 1 hour burning time so, not very!!

Ordered the Sephora BAC last night. I didn't see that coming. I was trying to order some of the products separately and realised my basket was already at £220, so I decided I might as well. My bedroom is going to look like a warehouse at this rate.

Does anyone know when the Selfridges fragrance beauty calendar will go on sale?

I may be on wrong post but I recall reading of someone else having a very tough year. Then tried to find to reply and cant find it.
They move very fast these pages 🤩🤣
If its this one I just wanted to say what an awfully tough year and I send love and prayers. ❤️

I also want to say how much these pages have helped me these last few weeks. Coming here and looking at posts feels like putting on a pair of comfy slippers. I see how many messages there are to read and my heart truly lifts as its such a nice escape from real life ❤️

I looked at the John Lewis one last year and thought they hiked the price up so wouldnt bother. I was hoping it would be reduced but sold out. Ill look at it but if minis I wont bother. I bought some aery ones last year in tkmaxx to make up for me missing it. They were a good price although I had to visit a few different stores to find some. 🤣 i think they are still in my cellar in boxes as I did go a bit mad. 🤣
Im holding out for the white company one reduced or Harrods home one.
Ive not bought a beauty one as have loads of stuff so looking at fragrance home ones unless ofcourse there are some real bargains.

Ive just looked at john lewis candle one. I was going to get it but it seems like because its on early access it wont let me add the Sunday riley eye product for free so now having a huff. 🤣
Not sure how long it'll be on early access. The sizes look ok. Although have had to look up the sizes. I think they should transparent and give the burn time of each..

I do like the look of Diptyque but have never really looked at their products although I know they are expensive. Ive looked in Selfridges but get pounced on by sales assistants do puts me off.

i feel incredibly lucky. I can’t use many creams as my skin just breaks out (cystic acne) looking at skincare that isn’t aqueous cream 🤣 and I only use a specific brand of makeup I know won’t break me out (Westman atelier) as the break outs are so incredibly painful. So I’ve never had an advent calendar.

Seems I've been lucky with my Liberty AC, there's a long date on the Sisley and the broth (ugh) isn't leaking.
Was caught up in the chat and almost bought the Boots skin AC, I can basically get it free with points, but inspired by some of you I've now got a spreadsheet with dates and volumes, and a pivot table that tells me that all told, I've got 8 unopened cleansers totalling over 500ml and a similar lake of toner, so even without a Mildred to disapprove I've put myself off

It was released as a limited edition so is probably older stock they want to clear but that doesn't bother me much with powder shadows within reason. If it was a 5 year old palette I wouldn't be impressed but one from a year or so ago I don't mind.

I have some eyeshadow palettes that are almost as old as my son, and he’s about to finish primary school. I’m in denial!

Hugely disappointed in Diptique, don’t like the box and the items are minuscule and not my favourites.
This was one of my must haves too 😪
