I was waiting on just my look but the medicube jelly cream has put me off a bit

I heard they are not releasing for a couple of weeks. Very bad of them not to state this when we ordered.

I have Macmillan (bought with pointS), as I figured there's enough in there that I will use some of the stuff might go in the direction of my nieces. I'm also intending to get M&S and Lumene. M&S usually has a minimum beauty spend to get the calendar.

Lumene is a brand I really like, having met through BAC most of the stuff in the Advent calendar is either full size (but they're small anyway) or travel size. I find the travel-size stuff really useful for several 2-3 night trips as it's not bulky. Generally, I wait and get theirs either direct or via John Lewis when one of them has some sort of offer on, so you can normally save at least £10.

Does anyone know the situation with the Harrods Fragrance calendar? I missed out online but am in London next week and thought I may try in-store…

I bought a KIEHL’S one for my daughter and got 20% off on my first purchase so it came in just under £100. I like their products: excellent ingredients and great for skincare. No viral make-up and on trend products but great for a teenager with sensitive skin.

I don’t know exactly why but Medicube skincare is also very off putting to me. Any calendar that has it, is off my list.

Thanks for this, I've just checked mine and luckily for me it's good till August 2028. I don't think I could face talking to their customer service again after the Reome debacle 😅

Had some luck with Cult Beauty CS - they've sent me a voucher code for the £20. Ignored my message about Escentric Molecules Escentric 01 missing from the BAC so I sent another message.

Given HN £270 mln debt to suppliers and logistic companies, advent calendars seem unlikely 🧐

Apparently suppliers will recover only 15p per £1 owed. Government and employees are first in line, therefore are expected to recover debt in full.

I have heard so much about medicube being really harsh that I try and avoid it. I had a mini of the jelly cream from an edit and I didn’t like it at all, threw it in the bin.

That doesn't look hopeful for calendars, you're right. Given how much of a saving calendars have, it wouldn't make sense not to sell the products off individually at full price where possible.

Thanks it’s good to know that I haven’t been forgotten. Would have been nice to have been given a rough idea of dispatch date but never mind.

Anyone done The White company calendar before? I shouldn’t be spending any money but it’s all things I’d put to use, if a bit day to day.

My LF BAC said dispatch from 22nd September when I ordered it on the day of release.

Did the HN calendar actually go up for pre-order? Does this mean people have lost their money? That’s rough if HN knew this was on the cards

No but I’m pretty sure it was included in a 20% off promotion later in the year and I nearly succumbed. I thought I’d mention it in case it’s worth waiting to see if the same discount happen although there always a risk of a sell out.

No. All we got was a reveal of the outer calendar packaging design, which could have just been a digital mock up. No reveals about price or contents and no website listing went up.

I think @RainbowZebraWarriormentioned that it’s always in their October 20% off offer and hasn’t in the past sold put before then.

I called Liberty this am to follow up on non numbered drawer and the Sisley. They’re sending replacements for both and just waiting to see what goodwill gesture they plan to offer!
Still no update from Harrods, may call them in a while…

Cult beauty have said that they're going to send me a replacement for the medik8 cream. I'm a bit suspicious though, it feels a bit too easy. No mention about how late it was though.

Yes, I ordered three: one grooming and two BAC and they said grooming wouldn’t ship til the 22nd of this month and BAC not until October 2nd 🤯

They aren’t accepting what’s apps and I’ve just called again to be told that any calendar issues they’ve been told they need to allow 7 working days for a response. This is from me calling them on Monday, not from my original email last Thursday. I’m really unimpressed, wondering if it means they are having lots of calendar issues? Not what I’d expect from Harrods and I told them that.

Baffling about Harvey Nicks!

When I contacted them via WhatsApp before they opened, I got that message but then I resent it during opening times and had a reply a few hours later. This was yesterday. I was cancelling my pre-order of the bac. Maybe try again?
