How can I discreetly manage facial hair while wild camping?

Unfortunately for me, as a woman, I seem to have plenty of neck, chic and upper lip hair. I don't know if it is because of hormones, the pill, etc. I used to pluck but switched to shaving years ago. I'm going wild camping with a very new bf at the weekend. How can I discreetly shave by a Loch!? I don't think a hairly face is an option, we're spending 24 hours together, within 24 hours it will be 1mm of stubble. 🙁

Just have a wax the day before you go then you won’t have to worry.

So you're going to be pooing in a bush or whatever and no proper shower but you're most worried about 1mm of hair?

Wax or threading before you go.

Wax or epilate before you go. Shaving is terrible.
Personally I prefer wax, I don’t remove hair on my face but my legs and full bikini stay smooth for 3 weeks with wax and and probably 10 days with epilator. It’s the same concept so I’m not sure why wax is better, think it’s just more thorough. Epilator hurts like hell the first and second time, it’s painless after that but remember to exfoliate well otherwise ingrowns will be everywhere.

Laser it before you go. It’s not very expensive and lasts well.

I’d get a little electric razor where you can’t nick yourself and you don’t need a mirror. But I’d probably pluck or epilate as much as possible before you go because the little electric razors for facial hair don’t shave as close as normal razors do. Philips lumea is good. It’s reduced my chin hair by about 50% I’d say so far.

Can you get it threaded or waxed before you go?? Threading is excellent 👌

Could you have it waxed at a beauticians before you go ?

Dermaplaning has changed my life. Gillette do a really good little razor thing.

Just bring a small mirror.

I wouldn't epilate or wax if yoy haven't done it before. It brings me out in spots. Get a little battery powered electric razor, you can get ones the size and look of a lipstick. And you can just whizz it over your face at an opportune time without needing a mirror.

Lots of good suggestions. And also if you haven’t been checked for PCOS I’d encourage you to do so.

Peeing behind a bush is one thing but if there’s no toilet block, where will you poo?

I live in a touristy area and get very annoyed by inconsiderate campers who use our local park woods to camp in (despite signs saying no camping) and then you come across bits of used toilet paper floating around where they’ve obviously had a dump. It’s pretty disgusting really!

OP I think most of the posters here, don’t really get it.

Sadly I do, and there’s no way I’d agree to wild camping because of this. And I’ve been married for over 20 years.

I still camp, but there has to be a sink behind a locked door.

If you really must, I would tajr a razor with the built in cream in the heads (smaller than intuition) a bottle of water (even better a flask of warm water), and two small facecloths, one wet one dry. And a couple of ziplock bags. And just use fingers to gauge stubble. Do this when you go to for a pee.

It really is the last taboo.
