I feel exactly the same @Doglover73 nothing wows but I'm hoping for some decent edits. I doubt we'll get something like the CB bargain stockings this year but fingers crossed!

I saw it on TikTok yesterday, it was in a photo lined up with all the other items we’ve seen so far. I’m hoping that it’s fake 😂

I should have done a screenshot but I was too appalled.

Been looking at Lbty advent stuff on vinted and there's so little that I would actually buy from it so I'm going to need to find another use for my credit I think.

Anyone else put off by seeing cosmetics open on Vinted/eBay? There's a serum from Liberty on there open with the pipette balanced on someone's knee. Sometimes they have mascara wands on show.

I usually don't mind Floral street as my DD and Mum both like most of them, but this year's Ylang Ylang Espresso or whatever it was does not sound up my (floral) street at all. I can't abide ylang ylang to the point where I refuse to use it in my candle and soap making, even when someone specifically requests it (gives me a headache!)

Now you mention it, I do recall someone saying they'd had a leaking product. This is going to be like last years clumpy mascara issue all over again isn't it?Luckily it's not too bad, it's just around the top of the bottle and hasn't damaged the drawer. I don't want to leave it lying in there though as I imagine it would continue to leak over the next few months. I don't expect leaking products in a calendar that retails for the best part of £300! A new one would be nice but if they give me credit I'll buy something to replace it with.

That would definitely put me off, and if it gets reported, Vinted will remove the listing.

Self care is definitely very important. I am a big believer in this, and an even bigger advocate of occasional indulgence! Which is why this thread and the hobby of BAC Hunting (as I call it) is such a joy, as are all of the lovely people on it ❤️

Absolutely, it's unhygienic. Im sure people do open things before they put them on vinted but if I don't see it, I can allow myself to assume they haven't.

I’ve been reading back, and Im so sorry to hear of the sad and difficult circumstances that some of you are experiencing. I found these threads were a really good distraction when my mum was coming to the end of her life and after she passed away four years ago. Sending love to you all.

Yes!! I don't get why people do this. The countdown starts from when it's opened so if it's going into my stash, I definitely don't want someone to have opened it as I can't guarantee it'll be used in time 🤭 People do it with creams, they show it with the lid off, I just click off it and I just think 'eww!' 🤣
When I'm selling, I'll only photo it out of the box if it's not cellophaned and I never take the lid off anything.

Someone on Vinted is trying to sell their empty Fenwick calendar box for £22!

What are people's thoughts on the OK Beauty Box (the Hannah Martin one)? Last year it looked like it had some really good stuff, but I hesitated too long and it sold out. It's about the right price point for me.

2025 was the first year since it started that I didn't get the M&S one. It was just "same old same old". Looking at the spoilers for this year it seems a lot better, so I'm tempted. I love Ylang Ylang Espresso, and have almost finished my bottle, so that would work for me.

They were from one seller so I was able to save on p&p 🥰 I might pop the James read in my sister's bac. Although I did want it to be items I've tried and enjoyed so she didn't think I was just giving her crap from the bottom of my stash 🤣

Liberty have got back to me already and they're sending a replacement broth out, so if anyone else finds theirs has leaked it's worth messaging them.

It’s a very weird and unnecessary thing to do. I would assume that they have tried the product and decided that they don’t like it 😬

If I sell a product, I don’t even take it out the box. I assume that people will look up shades on the website and know what they are buying.

@ClutteredPalace it was me who had the leaked Roeme product. Liberty are sending out a replacement.

At least they are being honest that it has been used. I refuse to buy eg lip gloss on these sites as you just can't be sure!

Not really. The Vinted seller with the opened Reome Broth has described it as brand new with tags - the open bottle and its pipette is balanced on her knee.

Yes, its drawer 24 so would be a bit of a shame to go through the calendar and find out right at the end.

@CointreauVersialdd (adult) had the ok beauty one last year, she doesn’t live at home and wasn’t good at sending me pictures as I requested so I didn’t see it but she said it was great and she’d use everything in it

Our friend Mary has done a review of the contents of the Harrods beauty calendar. I like how she’s honest in a very polite way. I’ve already preordered this one and honestly I can’t find a calendar that comes anywhere near in terms of luxe skincare.
