When I ordered, I clicked on 1-2 days free delivery which I think is a benefit of being a beauty box subscriber….
When I searched in Track Your Order, it said, “We have not yet received tracking data for your order”.
I can’t find any other delivery date info on my email.🤷🏼‍♀️

lI remember last year they released fragrance edit in October and there was also a fragrance haul (don’t remember when) which had a few full sizes and was priced at £400+

Who’s gone for selfridges? After initially dismissing it I’m actually quite tempted.

I bought one. Luckily i got in this morning when there was no queue. I think I would probably use half the items, gift some and sell the rest on vinted. I think its decent for the price and i got 10% cash back

Just got the notification of the Selfridge's one and there are 4193 people ahead of me in the queue. Fingers crossed I get it as it's the only one I fancied.

It only took 20 mins for the que to go down from 5000 plus for me (I didn't buy in the end)

Thanks @JoRaRaRa I got the Harrods. After realising how gutted I was when I thought I'd missed it this morning I knew I had to get it. I got that and Selfridges earlier to go along with Liberty and Harrods FAC so I think I'm done now apart from the Selfridges FAC scrum.

Thanks but if im being hinest with myself, its more the Fomo talking than actually wanting it. I love the idea of luxurious skincare and would love to try some out, but I find the advent a bit boring at the same time.

Also, im debating with myself if I love the idea of luxury skincare more than the actual products. There are so many active ingredients in there these days that my skin melts off with most of them.

I’m trying to avoid the temptation of Harrods and Sefridges. I’ve bought the JL fragrance with the extra voucher off. I really don’t need another BAC and with my rational mind I don’t actually want three quarters of the stuff in them. But the boxes are so shiny and gorgeous. Consumerism is a dangerous and addictive drug! I’m putting my phone in the back of a cupboard for the rest of the day….

I got the Selfridges, not everything appealed (although if anyone has any tips to make burgundy eyeshadow work on a pale person let me know!) but it looked really fun and the perfumes are so generous!

I’m picking it up in store tomorrow and now how to avoid temptation to do more shopping!

My restraint didn’t last long….. I’ve also just purchased selfridges.

I now have glossy box, Harrods, Elle and Selfridges. My DH has just told me he has ordered vogue. So I’m well and truly fully stocked with advent calendars so I must hide my phone to save me from myself.

I’m not sure if anyone will remember last year FTF did a great edit I’ve just looked on there app and this was there sounds interesting .

I tried a very dark blue last night which I thought would be awful. I put it as a thin line over my normal brown/cream eye make and I was quite surprised with the results. It gave an almost smoky look rather than gothic or even 1970’s look. It made me realise I should be braver with my colour pallet. Maybe this could also work with the purple?

Well I caved and bought Selfridges. So that’s 5 in total with the possibility of buying PURESEOUL. Then I must resist and more. I will be putting some of the bits from GB & Selfridges on Vinted so hopefully I can make back a little bit on the things I won’t use.

Just got the Selfridge's one and it's coming tomorrow morning. I appreciate that this didn't go on ale until they had stock to dispatch as I'm off all week so there was no surprise delivery.

Now I need to ignore all other calendars and I'll probably have forgotten what's in the Selfridge's one by the time it gets to 1st December.

So in my efforts to not buy Glossybox or the Boots scent calendar, and thus saving myself £180, I have spent £177 in the sales. At least it's £177 of products I want and no Dods.

I am still interested in the Cowshed advent calendar which is meant to be released today, but when I go to the site I still get the early access sign up page.

I was thinking about this. I have the HN fragrance advent from last year which is still unopened so I was going to open one drawer a week until Christmas. I think this times perfectly with when I’m back off holiday. But the ones I’ve just purchased I’m unsure about. None of them have arrived yet so I’m not yet fed up with boxes hanging around but I might keep the most Christmasy ones for December and open the other ones in the months leading up to or I might open them all in December and it will feel like Christmas morning every morning for the month of December.

I’ve been using a SbA mascara and love it! Can anyone recommend anything else? I’m quite tempted by this just to try the products in more of an edit quite way and the semantics would mean I’m not buying ‘another’ ac.

I've now bought the Elle calendar, I think... I haven't had a confirmation email, but they money has been blocked on my card. Has anyone else had a confirmation email for that one?

I pre-ordered the Harrods BAC and they said then that it would be dispatched on 14th sept, but if I order today, it'll get dispatched in a few days. I'm not impressed 🤣
