Oh you could be right actually, it’s been a while since I didn’t have a load of points so I had forgotten that.

Ordered the LF beauty as its just a great deal for me. Will use a lot of the products and ChatGPT agrees lol.

Also ordered a 2nd Bijenkorf advent as I was really pleased with the content and its now sold out in most stores as well. Its the only one i feel really excited about so far. Have already started using its products and sold for about 96 euros (make up and the one fragrance I didnt like) so far so it totals to 64 euros spent.

Im just so happy with the selection of fragrances, the hair stuff and excited to try the new Roquebrun tanning night cream. Even the 1 filler product, a toiletry bag is a very nice one 😀

Still going back and forth between Selfridges and Harrods. Probably letting fate decide on which one will sell out first and still waiting for Skins to drop on the 4th of september

Managed to get the Liberty Men's. With BD discount and credit it was £225. I must have saved well over £100 with BD discounts this year, plus the free postage so I see BD's main benefit as the disounts, not the little boxes they send every quarter, those are incidental.

Thank you to the poster who alerted us to JL FAC! I’ve been wanting that one so I’d have missed it otherwise so I have now ordered my first AC of 2026.

I’ve rewatched the unboxing YouTube’s (well reveals as not really unboxing yet) for Sephora, Selfridges, Elle and Harrods and still really undecided! I think I’m leaning towards Selfridges the most but it’s the most expensive and I could get Elle for £60 less and use that extra on a couple of bits I want. Agh don’t know what to do!

In a bizarre departure from my usual behaviour, I've decided not to buy the Boots scent ac and bought a perfume I've been interested in trying from Look Fantastic instead. It had 30% off and I had the Beauty Detective influencer discount code on too which took another £3 off. Instead of spending £90, I spent £27.
I did spend £150 on the Cult Beauty sale last night though...

Busy morning, bought LF frag, JL frag and Liberty Mens. Also the le labo set on cult beauty which was discounted + I had some points.

That should keep me going a few days.

I've just had the email to say Elle is live and £10 off for the next 24hrs.

The Elle release confuses me because I feel sure I already bought it with £10 off over the weekend. How much wine did I drink?

@Beautyfox Yes, it was via Hearst magazines! I nearly ordered it again too.

I thought it would be today. They said it would be online too, but maybe they've changed their minds on that as I can't see it on there. The beauty one is showing as oos for me online.

You probably did, it's just the first time I've had an email about it so I wonder if they're doing it in stages? I was also sure I'd seen people say they bought it.

A friend who always goes said that they were so funny about giving details this morning. And now have created some QR code system. But she said maybe its a good thing as every year there are a few hundred people in the queue and this time its a few dozen. She got one of each:) She asked about online as I was considering another one for my sister and they told her it will go online again in a day or two. They need to have an idea of stock after todays store purchases.

I'm kicking myself about Harrods as I was waiting to buy Selfridges first and see if the FAC dropped before I bought it. I hope it does come back online as I definitely want it 🤦‍♀️

I know it cost me more but I got the Harrods FAC off ebay, seller seemed reputable enough. Was £90 extra which I do resent paying but not enough not to buy it! It's still good value overall.

This is my plan with Selfridges FAC if I can't get it when released. I hate the idea of encouraging scalpers but I also want the calendar enough to justify it to myself.

She’s 14, it’s going to be one of her Christmas presents. She has just started getting into fragrances after I gave her some of my old bottles. She’s not a girly girl but loves to smell nice.

Liberty mens with it's 10ml moisturiser and 75ml shampoo described as full size along side so many minis. After last years mens it's very poor this year.

I can’t believe how fast Harrods BAC has sold out! I knew it would sell out quickly but didn’t expect it to be oos by the 1st September!

I did the same last year. They removed a couple of the fragrances so the calendar was pretty reasonably priced. I got 10% cash back as well and then bought samples of a couple of other perfumes on vinted.

Told ChatGPT that I could get LF bac for £92 ( I have credit) this was its response!

“For now I’d put the credit card-shaped devil on your shoulder down, step away from the £92 checkout button, and watch Cult/Selfridges unboxings first. 😈”
