Can anyone recommend a couple of solid sub £200 beauty calendars? I have the F&M one ordered for actual advent, and fancied one or two more to open weekly / fortnightly after Christmas (someone suggested / said they do this - fab idea! But bet I open them all as soon as I get them 😂).

I'm pretty open to trying new stuff. Loved the liberty men’s calendar last year. Not a massive fan of brands like Aveeno, nuxe, l’ocitaine, weleda, able / avant, etc, but other than that I’m pretty adventurous.

I’ve ruled out GB tonight following full reveal.

Sod it, I'm going for Fenwick as my second (already have Harrods BAC on order). I'll keep an eye out for the CB full reveal and decide at that point whether need a third.
This decision is almost certainly fuelled by the work meal I've just had, with much wine. BUT in my weird logic, that was free, so I can offset advent calendar costs against it.
I'd be up for swaps or private selling; I can't be doing with Vinted or Ebay. I'll always use skincare, but less so make up, so a swaps thread sounds perfect.

When I've had it it was a little jam spoon and I think there was a Christmas tree decoration too .

I think you’re right. I had it in my basket (wasn’t planning on buying it but was thinking about it) and it’s removed at checkout as no longer available. That was quick!

Dis you manage to bag this before it disappeared? I can't believe it's actually sold out as it only went on general sale on 25 Aug. I wonder if they are playing silly beggars and trying to create hype / more demand. Bound to still be some in store anyway if you live near one. I might be going into town tomorrow so will check my local store.

No, I finally came to a decision and then couldn't get it! I also can't believe it's sold out. I'm near a shop, so I'll ask next time I'm in town. Oh well, it's not as though I need it so maybe I should take it as a sign.

I think I am going with Harrods. It seems the best value for a high end calender and on first glance it agrees with my skin, mostly.

I would have loved a candle instead of a eyelashcurler but oh well.

The review of @MaryBD also convinced me.

The only thing is that I pay an extra 75 euro for the shipping and VAT. I think Ill ask a friend to order it and Ill pick it up when Im in the UK. Just dont want to bother others with my obsession too much lol

Not sure I believe it's sold out just yet. I suppose it may have but usually the page stays for a a while saying sold out. Annoying if it has as it's on my list in case CB isn't the one.

They’ve just launched 20% off beauty so I wonder if they have taken it down whilst this offer is on. Odd though you would think they would just exclude it.

I seem to remember Fenwick launching much later last year so maybe an August launch is a new thing for them. I got my hands on one by good fortune, ordered Monday easy enough to sign up to the member thing and buy straight away so that was not necessarily a barrier. It is a very decent AC. Maybe this thread has further reach than we think. Apart from the usual or occasional contributers there could be thousands of lurkers.

I noticed the Fenwick calendar was no longer on display in store yesterday. It was there on Saturday so it is all very strange

That was one of my contenders for a second BAC but I’d not had chance to finalise

I can’t believe Fenwick has sold out that quick. I think it was one of the last to sell out last year. I remember JL removing theirs from the site for a bit a few years ago and it reappeared. Think one of the products was listed wrong

Tbf, it’s working on me. I want it more now than I did when it was freely available 😂.
