Natural deodorant

Whats everyone’s experience using wild or fussy natural deodorant?
Is the outlay/cost worth it in comparison to regular deodorant? I usually use mitchem. I like a cream stick deodorant rather than a “wet roller” type. I sweat a lot! Would wild or fussy cut it? Any recommendations?

Fussy definitely works better for us and the timings of my mums health just made me rethink what we use. Glad the aluminium isn’t true.

I use the wild roll-on and shower gel my husband uses the solid deoderant, we both like it and lasts ages.

A few months ago I posted on MN under a different name. I posted because I couldn’t find a deodorant that didn’t itch. Some very kind people suggested a few and I bought some of them. They suggested that it was the aluminium that was making me itch. I bought a few of the ones that they suggested. So far I have only tried 2 of them. The ones I have tried are salt of the earth natural deodorant and fussy. The salt of the earth is lasting forever. I used the fussy on holiday and keep it with my bag of holiday toiletries. They both feel fine to me but I don’t think I am a good person the judge. I am in my early 70s and I very rarely sweat under the arms and a few years ago hair stopped growing there. Neither of the two itch.

I have been using brand called Blushberry Botanicals. I buy the cream one in a tin. Lovely fragrances and I actually like rubbing it in. It’s worked for me all through menopause.

I use wild I think its good. The cream roll on one not the liquid, only as I have not tried the liquid. I use coconut and vanilla. Love the smell. Nice cases too.

I find natural deodorant similar to using no deodorant at all. I don't sweat much so initially I don't smell but if it's hot, stressful.or a long day I cat tell I start to stink. They do absolutely f all.

I did not try Fussy though, but tried all ither major brands available.

I love Wild and have used it for a few years. My 15 year old daughter also uses it. We're medium sweaters. I run and go to the gym and my underarms are never pongy. I love the fact that we're not both adding to plastic landfill too

I like the Wild rollerball deodorant, it worked perfectly from day one. However the stick version is messy, you have to twist it up, and then down to put the lid on, sometimes it sticks to the lid sometimes it just falls out, as a deodorant it works perfectly well though.

I didn’t like wild but my Husband does.
I prefer Estrid. The green or blue one. But appreciate it’s not a stick. More of a gel. I apply it with my fingers straight from the packaging and wash them afterwards as the roller ball packaging doesn’t work that well. I love it so much, that I’m prepared to take that approach!

You might want to check the ingredients of Wild and Fussy. Both have been bought by large companies like Glaxo and Johnson.

Fussy and wild didn’t work for me - not effective and then gave me a rash.
I love Make Waves and also Estrid. Alternate between both depending on how I’m feeling!

I'm post menopausal but still v sweaty, can't use anti perspirants, v sensitive skin so react to lots of ingredients.

Use Pit roc but tbh in this hot weather it's just not working as well.

Just started on Fussy, it's amazing!

Really works, smells lovely, lasts all day.

I have been using Fussy for a couple of years. All good until I started noticing my clean tops beginning to smell a bit rancid, an unpleasant sort of a sick smell. It’s really vile and I’ve only just realised it’s the deodorant after blaming the washing machine and tumble dryer! Apparently this is a reported and recognised thing so I will have to stop using it now.

Me too, I have been using it for years.

This is my favourite - Evolve Cotton Fresh Deodorant Cream.

I never really got on with the applicators of natural deodorants and this one you put on with your finger. Works well.

Only one I like is Dr Organic Tea Tree from Holland and Barret. Its a wet roll on. However, because of the tea tree, I never smell and it always feels clean putting it on after showering. Never had any issue with smell, as its naturally antibacterial it just deals with that.

I never wear clothes that will show sweat patches so its not really an issue if I sweat.

This one also leaves no wierd marks on clothes.

I wanted to love that but couldn't deal with havibg to wet it. Mayve I will try thst if mine gets discontinued!

I switched to Wild during the previous heatwave and it worked very well.

The fragrances are quite subtle and pleasant. My only gripe is the cost, but I've been buying them from Vinted (new) and they work out about £3.50 if you look carefully

My friend swears by PitRok but I’m a convert to fussy. I tried Wild and a few others from Holland and Barrett but fussy was the only natural deodorant I found worked for me.

I love the smell of fussy but it makes my pits smell like weed after an hour or two. Should I persevere?

I use Fussy. Really like it. Used Wild that didn't work for me.
