Can I pull off a non wedding-y dress for getting married in?

Size 22
5ft 10
Longish brown hair
Massive boobs but also very thick around the waist now
Will need to train myself to walk in anything more than a kitten heel
Flexible budget
Small wedding, registry office then some food and cocktails at home
November wedding, it will be cold
Been married before and don't want anything too bridal.
Not good legs but midi is okay.

I like the thought of a statement dress but not even sure where to start. In my head I have some sort of outfit that you'd wear to the opera, maybe something embroidered or long or metallic, just something different. But I don't know where to even start looking for options and have spent all day yesterday basically on the usual bridal websites not really finding anything

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

At the very opposite end of your budget from Marina Rinaldi etc, it might be worthwhile looking here?

I do think it's much less likely you'll find something fab - but sometimes you can hit on something that's just the right cut & colour, so that it being slightly lesser quality isn't noticeable or so important.

Btw OP, I'm also tall & plus-sized. I know that wedding jewellery is usually rather delicate & tiny & demure - but that kind of jewellery just gets lost on me. I scale up with my jewellery, & would do that for my own wedding too!!!

A simple dress, but the shape is good & the transparent top part lifts it out of the ordinary. Another one where you could go a bit wilder with accessories.

As it's a late autumn wedding and in a registry office, would a smart trouser suit, perhaps in cream, fit the bill? You could coordinate it with matching handbag and boots. I think with your height and build that separates would really suit you and another idea might be a jacket and maxi skirt.

Love the NRBY, that is so beautiful. Wouldn't go sleeveless but could maybe have some sort of cape or similar. It is so simple but beautiful.

Thanks for the idea re the trouser suit, I think given my waist/stomach/zero bum/weird legs a dress would be easier. Not ruling it out but unsure if would struggle to find two things. I love the idea of a skirt but never wear skirts so unsure where to start!
