New thread for everyone. Welcome back and hello to newbies and lurkers.

Thank you for the heads up re the Sali Hughes edit. Did not need it but too good value to pass up. I used CBAFF and my last £15 of loyalty credit, meaning I paid £20.95.

IlovePond · 20/07/2026 08:26

The StyleKorean Pharmacy Box is back and is again priced at $85, (rather than $89 as they previously stated):

https://www.stylekorean.com/sk-promotion/2

Code: CLARE10 gives an extra 10% off on top of the existing FESTA promotion.

This is the final FESTA week, with the $1 Relay Deals, and special offers, etc.

Today’s Relay Deals have opened just as I am typing this. IMO, they are good ones today and won’t be available for long:

Btw: I am really enjoying using up all my little tubes/bottles of - mainly - Korean SPF atm.

I’m using Hera atm and really like it. Last week it was Innisfree dark spot remover spf and I liked that too.

keepincool · 20/07/2026 08:31

Another thanks for the Sali Hughes edit info. I managed to use the code too 😊

Housewife2010 · 20/07/2026 08:37

It looks like the edit has sold out already. Very fast. The last time I remember one selling out so quickly was the Summer Fridays one a couple of years back.

LoveLabradors · 20/07/2026 08:45

Thanks also for the CB info. I ordered one prior to seeing the discount code and used £5 credit. When I saw the code I cancelled that order and re-ordered using the code. Hoping CB aren’t going to be awkward about refunding credit voucher! Kicking myself for rushing and ordering without checking on here! It’s a great value edit with the code. I’ve been pretty good for ages about not buying stuff so decided I’ve earned it 😁

trying29 · 20/07/2026 08:48

omg I missed it - I;ve been waiting so long for that! :(

keepincool · 20/07/2026 08:51

So what are the CB codesthat I should be trying? I know ANNIIECB and CBAFF. Plus there was the infamous 40% one that i've forgotten.

I always forget to try codes so I need to make a note.

OvaHere · 20/07/2026 08:55

Willow742 · 20/07/2026 08:00

Trying to remind myself it's nearly advent season and not to get silly buying edits just because a code is working 🙈

Me too. I bought the last edit with the liquid peptides in so I'm not going to buy this one. Still suffering a bit from fomo but I need to ride it out. 😂

The Salli Hughes edits usually sell fast so hopefully it will be gone by the end of the day and that will be that.

Oh wow already. I'm kind of pleased. I may have cracked otherwise.

@HolidayHattie how brilliant that you feel your new skincare journey is working!

Annoyingly, consistency is more important than the products in my experience. But I totally understand that feeling of not finding the time or energy every single evening/morning.

Elizabeth Arden do a lipbalm shaped like a lipstick in their 8 Hour range. Much easier to use than the actual cream. It is excellent.
A dab of coconut oil as when you remember really helps. It sinks in very quickly and you won’t be left with that oily residue. Keep a tiny jar by the kitchen sink and you’ll remember to use it.
Vaseline is useless on dry lips, I find it makes the problem worse.

Are you drinking enough water and consuming enough oils? Dryness on skin is often a reflection of what is going on the inside.

Are you using any face exfoliating product that spreads to lips and perhaps it is too harsh on lips (something with glycolic acid for example)?

Hicupping · 20/07/2026 09:17

Well that's ridiculous.

Cyclingmummy1 · 20/07/2026 09:18

CB Edit OOS already!

HolidayHattie · 20/07/2026 09:24

@Branster Thank you for the detailed response. I have already given up on the vaseline as my lips do seem even worse as soon as it has worn off. No, I've not been using any exfoliators. As I said, I think it's a side effect of medication/medical treatment. My whole skin was also extremely dry but has responded brilliantly to the lotions and potions I've been using, except for my lips.

I've made some improvements to my diet and am trying to drink lots of water. Is the coconut oil something special? Where do you get it?

SheilaFentiman · 20/07/2026 09:26

Sali (on insta) is really surprised it has gone OOS so fast!

The false start a couple of days ago probably gave everyone fomo.

@HolidayHattie I use a lip oil at night (and sometimes during the day), it has made a huge difference. I couldn’t wear lipstick before either but now I wear daily.
I use Aldi’s dupe of Charlotte Tilbury lip oil, if you can’t get in Aldi you may be able to pick up on Vinted.

BakeOffRewatch · 20/07/2026 10:17

@HolidayHattie let your lips heal. Put aloe Vera gel on. Vaseline and emollients can make it worse, let the skin breathe. After they’ve healed go back to balms and lipsticks. Have you been using actives near your mouth? It’s a really sensitive area. Avoid using actives within the area under your cheeks and around your mouth (commonly called nasolabial folds and marionette lines but I really dislike both those terms). Massage your face instead.

BakeOffRewatch · 20/07/2026 10:20

@HolidayHattie Ah just saw your post about it being medication related. This stuff is great La Roche-Posay Cicaplast B5+ Baume. https://www.boots.com/la-roche-posay-cicaplast-balm-40ml-10189518

Anything that’s on a roaccutane recommended list will be good. https://notesbyalice.co.uk/accutane-skincare-routine-essentials/

avoid vitamin a and retinol or retinol type products completely

Edited

I'm quite surprised it went so fast. I thought it would go within the day but not so quickly.

It's a decent box but nothing groundbreaking. I was a bit tempted for the CEO Afterglow but I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the cream.

I love how it looks and feels but it doesn't play well with other products and can pill really badly. I've got one open at the minute from a Liberty edit but have to be choosy about when I use it. I tend to put it on when wfh and with very minimal products under or over it.

IlovePond · 20/07/2026 11:18

@OvaHere - what actually is CEO Afterglow? I got a small tub in the JL goody bag and have realised I have no idea what it is for.

Thanks

SheilaFentiman · 20/07/2026 11:23

I got a freebie of the CEO afterglow cream from the JL event (and the 15g is GWP at m and s at the moment too)
