Here’s a picture of my JL goody bag.

I’m not sure it’s ‘worth’ £35 to me: A Dyson blow-dry brush is of zero use to me given I don’t even own a hairdryer! The Trinny product contains talc, so that’s a no-no too.

However, I’m pleased with the SR product, the Sculpted by Aimee cream, the LM eye stick and the face masks. I also like the cute perfume bottle, (regardless of what it smells like).

I am pleased with the samples I picked up and with the things I won. I had forgotten about the Lancaster spin to win - I did quite well at that stall, which is good because I am keen to try their SPF.

I felt the same @IlovePond - it wasn't worth the ticket price for me tbh, despite being able to recognise the £180 value was technically valid. I do love a scrub though so happy about the clarins product! I think because none of us ever pay the full price for things these 'values' can be deceptive.

@LightandBreezy @SheilaFentiman if those (very expensive) liquorice balls are the same ones that were in Westfield when I was there in May they are lush. I ate quite a few free samples, they were generous at giving them out. I bought a silly priced box to take home for DH.

Depends on your feelings about liquorice though. 😂

I agree @LightandBreezy I did quite enjoy the event, though but didn’t rate the venue / it was far too hot!

I’m sad I missed the liquorice - I like it!

@OvaHere tbh judging by the threads, we tend to agree on products, so perhaps in this instance I could be wrong but god I hate liquorice 😂Anything aniseed or aniseed-adjacent sends shivers down my spine!

JL have started stocking my favourite Lakrids by Bulow liquorice - were they the liquorice balls? They were recommended on one of the Christmas threads last year and I've ordered loads from Denmark since. I've only tasted the chocolate covered ones, but can highly recommend them.

When I was leaving the JL event just after 5.30pm yesterday, I passed several people with large Liberty bags - I am wondering if that was some of you with your GA GWPs!

We need a secret MN beauty chat sign for events like this. What is something everyone will own? A travel size PK Elasticizer turned into a bag charm? Or maybe a Slip scrunchie round the wrist? 😁

Haha, I’m also a slip scrunchie around the wrist person and was passing JL at about 5pm yesterday with a ridiculously large Liberty bag. Slightly too early for you @IlovePond
