Replacement for Nivea Soft - new ideas?

I know this has been done before but not for a while and people may have new suggestions. I am about to run out of the non-vegan Nivea Soft moisturising cream and need an alternative. I'm a basics self-care person so something cheap but effective. Any recent finds you can personally recommend?

I used to use that and was gutted when they changed formula. I use Nivea aftersun now as a body lotion. I like it, but it is cooling so better in the summer months.

Mixa is a new range, lots rave about it. Superdrug and Amazon do the range, often on offer. Not tried it mysrlf.

I used Nivea Soft for years. I ended up using Astral as a replacement. I was not overly keen to start just because it took a little longer to absorb. However, I’ve got used to that and just pop it on a little earlier in the morning. 👍

What has happened to Nivea soft then? I love it.

Another vote for Mixa, it’s really good and reasonably priced.

They changed the formula to vegan and it became ineffective.

I saw a recommendation on here for the mixa niacinamde body lotion and have started using that. It’s a bit thinner than the old Nivea soft was but I like it

Is the blue pot original Nivea different too? I haven’t used it for long time as used Nivea soft but may go back to it. Otherwise Astral

Body lotion - Nivea coconut & monoi oil. 400ml pump action bottle. Soaks in lovely & pleasantly lightly scented.

Face - Olay double action. A basic facial moisturiser approx £5 for 50ml pot.

Sorry to jump in but is this a relatively new change? I use Nivea soft and haven’t noticed any difference but then I haven’t bought a new one for a while

Nivea Soft changed a few years ago. The newer reviews show the discontent with the new version.

Following for suggestions as I'm now down to my last pot of the old formula.

I've been using simple everyday on my face but I need something more for my body.

My favourite brands have been slowly stripped away over the past few years and it's devastating.

First my EL light, then they came for EL double wear now my everyday old faithful moisturiser. I dread to think what's next.

I'm using Aveeno Shop Best Body Care Products | AVEENO®

I believe they took the lanolin out of it, but for me, that was why it was so good.
Im on my last pot too. Can anyone recommend a moisturiser with lanolin?

It was great. Cheap, mild and effective.
