Help find an outfit for day in Milan that won’t embarrass my family!!!!

Help! Am 49, 5ft2, size 14-16 apple with flabby upper arms, massive belly, cankles and varicose veins. A real catch!
It is my daughter’s 18th when we are on holiday and we are doing a walking fashion tour of Milan to celebrate!
I need a chic comfortable outfit! Dresses are either unflattering or if I try to go for loose just seem so voluminous- nothing seems to just skim. Co ords seem to make me look manly!
please help find an upper arm covering,leg covering cool understated chic outfit!!!

I'd wear black. Milanese love black. It's slimming and doesn't show dirt. I'd wear wide leg black, maybe cropped trousers in a light fabric and a black shell top with draper sleeves.

A jumpsuit would be good too I'm apple and jumpsuits look good. Jigsaw had a nice one with a pebbly gold button and cap sleeves. I'd just replicate jumpsuit in a trouser top combo to make loo visits easier when sightseeing.

I’m in Italy now and almost passing out with the heat. What you wear is really not worth fretting about. People are just in linen material, dresses with no sleeves that are loose etc and that is in Florence. Just dress to be comfortable and cooll. Even my usually uber comfortable Gabor sandals are not so comfortable. For what it’s worth I am wearing things like linen light khaki skirt, dark brown linen top from white company, wooden bracelet, pendant necklace from white company, flat suede sandals. Today I am wearing an old linemen dress from Jigsaw with thick black sandals from Gabor. Cross body bags are really useful or make sure bags have zips. I also have a couple of dressed from Aspiga in cheesecloth and bought a dress from whistle in 100 pure cotton.

Bring a silk scarf for the churches

It was 34 degrees today. People are wearing very little. No layers. Long floaty dresses, short lined dress, shorts anything to keep cool. Bring a hat too!
