Yes, have washed and dried hair today (also did so yesterday morning and yesterday evening as we were going out )

Yes I have jewellery on (watch, bracelet, earrings)

No make-up because I did my make-up twice yesterday and my very sensitive skin needs a little rest. But eyelashes are dyed and skin is good and toenails are painted, most unusually for me (to go with sandals worn last night).

YeahBut · 24/06/2008 16:05

No, no, and NO.

But I don't look as bad as those answers would would imply

Anna8888 · 24/06/2008 16:07

Cod - why are you so averse to "usual jewellery"? A few bits of real jewellery worn daily is the height of good taste in these parts

nailpolish · 24/06/2008 16:08

anna - i wonder that too = why wear the same jewellery every day - surely it doenst go with every single outfit you wear?

everyones different though i suppose

Anna8888 · 24/06/2008 16:11

I have three watches (a Reverso, a Cape Cod and a Bulgari Bulgari) I rotate depending on outfit. I have a gold Chaumet bangle I was given for Christmas by an ex-boss 15 years ago and wear every day. I have pearl and diamond earrings I bought myself 8 years ago I rarely change. And a little purple beaded necklace my best friend gave me for my 37th birthday that I nearly always wear, unless I need a "big" necklace for a particular outfit.

Anna8888 · 24/06/2008 16:12

I think I don't like "costume" jewellery. I never even think of buying any, unless it is very specically part of an outfit.

nailpolish · 24/06/2008 16:13

thats very lovely and im sure you treasure them but i couldnt wear the same jewellery every day even though it was my most precious and favourite

Anna8888 · 24/06/2008 16:13

I feel lost without my jewellery - it's part of my body, almost.

CountessDracula · 24/06/2008 16:14

do you wear your reverso?
I find mine so uncomfortable I have left it in a drawer for years
it is too bulky for me
