@mizu I don’t know about that, I’d be more than happy if the were above my knees.

I noticed quite a few sizes restocked this morning so I've ordered a couple of the crinkly tops in my preferred size instead of just making do with one a bit too big and the other a bit too small. It's worth bothering about getting the fit spot on at these prices I think.

Does anyone know please if you can return items from different orders in the same envelope or do you have to return them separately with different QR codes. I have several items to return and I think I'm going to get them all mixed up if I have to do them separately.

Oh dear, I need to step away from the sale now! The restock yesterday morning sent me back in and now my fourth order is on its way.

I highly recommend these by the way, at least if you’re 5’7” or taller and like full length trousers. I had them in 12 but they were getting a bit big so I bought the 10 now and am very pleased with them. Flattering and, well, expensive-looking. I’m an hourglass with waist high up my body and they’re perfect for my shape, in case that’s useful for anyone.

Have also bought two pairs pjs, a nightie, two jumpers, cotton twill trousers. Two dresses, a shirt, a t shirt and a pair of linen trousers are on their way. Decided to try that woven linen tshirt dress and the pantry stripe based on the reviews here.

I managed to buy the pomegranate quilt. Pleased about that. Also the Breton cire navy hat that I think @ScottishMouse returned. I keen to get a hat been looking around, wasn’t sure about this shape but I’ll give it a go. Amusing in a way as I have the most mad looking hats already.

@ToastSafeFromMothsAndDogs i have looked at those trousers quite a few times. They do look very nice. I don’t need any just now, they most likely would be too long on me and I’d rather have looser at the pelvis but I think they look great.

My final (?) two sale parcels arrived. The mohair sweater in honey is a beautiful colour but hideous on me. The dark green is a much better colour for me, but will the itchy neck drive me mad? This is why I sent it back in winter but I can generally get over an itchy knit once I get used to it.
The Bronwen trousers are tiny on the waist, so are going back.
The linen silk shirt is probably right in L and despite M come my back in stock, I am sticking with this one. I’ve kept coming back to this one all year, so it is a keeper at the further reduced price.
The indigo jacket….again….still swithering if I’m honest. It’s a good price now and lovely, but the one they sent this time is very creased and looks a bit shabby as a result. It can obvs be ironed, but it’s making me wonder if it will look like this after wearing it. It’s very soft and unstructured and I can’t decide if I like that in a jacket or not.

My first order from the new drop was a bit disappointing; I was really looking forward to trying something different for me with the Soft charcoal A line top. Unfortunately it was far too scratchy for my skin. I was really surprised, I have a problem with wool but a linen cotton mix doesn’t normally affect me.

I also bought the Baya stripe shirt, as I know it’s a shape that suits me. But the stripes made me look like I was wearing my pyjama top so I will return that as well.

By way of compensation I have ordered the blue tea towel sale dress 🤦‍♀️.

Oh no @Theteapotsbrokenspout, I’ve ordered the Baya stripe shirt as well (arriving tomorrow). I had high hopes, but pyjama vibes is not really what I’m going for either.

I’ve also ordered the Open Stitch Knitted Linen Cotton Polo. I love the look of it, suspect it doesn’t suit me, but concluded that there’s only one way to find out.

I dare not look! I should save the pennies for the autumn season once that starts to come in.

I returned the navy seersucker dress, so I’m sure one of us will be next on the list for that to be passed round! The totem dress is such a stunner that I couldn’t keep something I was 50-50 about. If there has been more room in the armholes it would have been fine. I did consider changing them myself but the quality of the finish is so good that it would have taken too much work.

@ScottishMouse I’m tempted to order the cropped denim trousers which you tried. Could you tell me what the sizing was like? I’m wearing size small in barrel leg cords and linen trousers. My recommendation is M but hit and miss. How was length 🤞🏻 not too long.

@Bimblesalong I love the Totem dress but think neck might be too high. Might give it a try though, it’s lovely

@MsDastardley I am mostly S in toast bottoms but I think I would have gone for M in these as the waist was tight. For comparison I recently tried the barrel leg linen trousers and liked M better than S in those. They were pretty much full length on me, and I’m 5’2”.

I said I was done, but then I saw the red striped smock top from last SS was available in my size again, so I have ordered that and the new Ikat skirt to try.
I’m sending back the mohair sweater. It’s probably partly because it is hot today, but it is just a bit too itchy.
Will try the indigo jacket again in the morning when it’s a little cooler, really cannot decide about it.

Thanks @ScottishMouse I think I will give them a go. Hope you like the batik skirt. I’ve ordered the dress. I do think the skirt looks nicer but the Aila dress works well for me and I’ve already had loads of wear out of my other two.

@Whowhatwerewolf - about returning things. It is a pain to put different things in separate bags and post each one off individually and would be much more sensible to do it all together. But you have to register each return online and each one is trackable with a different number so it might get muddled up if you can't show that each return order left you and arrived back at Toast. Otherwise you have no proof of sending

Thank you @faustina that's helpful. I'll do them separately. Hopefully as I get better at deciphering Toast sizes I'll have fewer returns to do because at this point it's getting ridiculous! But anyway I'll be a sale shopper only so as that's ending my credit card and local post office will be getting some time to rest before the next one

I love the sales talk but it does send me back to the website to relook at things. I’ve got the fennel waistcoat arriving tomorrow in a 10, the Japanese culottes in a 14, the two colours of the belted trousers in size 10, and the patchwork gilet which I love the look of although reviews on here and on the website have been mixed. What a range of sizes, given that I’m a standard 12 and I’m actually sitting here in a linen toast dress that is size XS.

I’m also keeping the gingham blue dress, taking a leaf out of kimbotanner in the styling.

Lots went back, I tried to be picky. There’s always more under the surface of these sales than at first glance.

@Whowhatwerewolf, deffo separate packages for separate orders or you run a real risk of not getting refunded for something.

I just had an email saying final reductions but I can't actually see any. Can anyone else spot them?

@ToastCosILoveIt will be interested to hear what you think about the culottes. I’m tempted. I ordered the patchwork gilet. Colours were stunning imo. I tried two sizes but reluctantly returned as it just fit me well. S/M was too neat. L/XL was better but armholes just too big. I really wanted to make it work.

@BettinaInDenmark found out that the uk further reductions went live before they were intended to and I’m wondering if the email is referring to that. I can’t see any more reductions.
Do we think the sale will end tomorrow? I have been enjoying the restocks and I’d like to think over a couple of things before committing. Will they tell us it’s going to end or just whip it away 😂

@ScallopShellWalk - Oh I suppose you could be right? It would be a bit soon after further reductions wouldn't it

@ScallopShellWalk I thought maybe Monday at 12 for the end. I think it has ended then before and there’s usually a ‘be swift’ email.

I would like the Baya shirt but haven’t yet ordered as it’s been too warm and I have spent enough atm. I’ll be interested to see how you get on with it @ToastCosILoveIt . My concern was the shade of blue it might be.

Def send items back as they came. Toast seems easily muddled. I’m waiting with baited breath to see if they refund the bandana which was in an envelope by itself and the parcel felt as though there was nothing in it 😬. An item posted at the same time was refunded this afternoon.

Would the jumper work with a wee scarf tucked in at the neck @ScottishMouse ?

@MsDastardley , I did get them in the 12, my size generally. They fitted well but I was worried that the waistband didn’t have a lot of give in it and I might struggle with it by the end of the day or after a big meal. So, I thought I would give the 14s a chance. I liked the cut and the fabric, and they are a bit more skirt like that the website photos suggest. They are also a good length, very much culottes, but not too short.

@Countmeout yes, I will let you know about the Baya. I will either love or hate it I predict, no middle ground.

@Countmeout it definitely would. Or with one of the lyocell aster tops. But I think I will wait and see what autumn brings in terms of knitwear instead. I’m happy with my sale purchases - the button through dress, the neat cashmere sweater, the silk linen top, and perhaps the indigo jacket and the red stripe smock top.
