Lady Pam was the oldest living descendent of Queen Victoria so I had a quick look to see who it is now. I thought maybe the DoK but no, it's King Harald's older sister Princess Astrid.

Hi friends!🤗
Been far too busy watching the brilliant Rivals - lovely Dame Jilly was my fave author growing up!😆
Loved Kate's red polka dot dress. Less keen on the blue one, although the colour is lovely on her.
Loved Mary's floral skirt and the idea of the fitted jacket. It would have been gorgeous in red or white, just not beige.
I think Cams has hosted a lovely tea party (hope I've got that right, just saw it on FB.) It looked divine, with beautiful cupcakes and goodies for the children. So lovely. Cams looked good in one of her trusty dresses in green (I think.)

Kate's visit today, in Eponine. The first picture doesn't look great, but further down the fit is active better. One of her favourite shades.

I just read the page linked. Kate wore her Manchester Bee earrings which is a lovely nod to being back up there. I have no idea if these things are thought of by Kate herself or (more likely) a dresser or other staff member but it is a nice touch.

(I do still think the dressing in the colours of the flag of the country she is visiting is a bit too much.)

I read Lady Pamela Hick's memoir "Daughter of Empire", she really had an extraordinary life, with varied travel and somewhat bohemian parents. She was very sanguine about it all, though. An interesting read.

She did indeed. A front seat at many important events.

I highly recommend her memoir Daughter of Empire. Among many significant events, she was with the late Queen in Kenya when George VI died and Elizabeth became queen.

Yes, it's a fascinating book. An extraordinary life.

I guess Lady Glenconner is the only one left of that generation now?

Probably, she's 93.
