Now we're in June we might be seeing the first Advent reveal before the month is out! Exciting times. 😍

I used the serum quite a bit @IlovePond and was fine with it (and I am allergic to dust, dairy and apparently many other skincare things!)

Re: TK MAXX

They have MOEV shampoo and hair treatment in atm. The shampoo is cheaper in TK Maxx than via the Korean online beauty sellers, and the treatment cream is the same price as at YESSTYLE.

I have stocked up!

They also have the Glossier G Suit soft lip products heavily reduced - I believe the line has been discontinued - as well as the Fenty Gloss Bomb and the new cooling lip/blush stick thingy from Milk. They also had some Charlotte Tilbury products, Neom and Rodial amongst other things.

Edited to say: I was fine with the Kerastase Genesis serum.

Not that I remember, I think I would have stopped using it if I had.

It must have been at least 6 weeks ago, because I went back to genesis and just finished that recently. I've decided to take a break from the serums for a while and see how it goes

Oh that’s typical, I paid £27.99 a few days ago! And I didn’t realise that it was 30ml, whereas the retinol one they have for £29.99 is 50ml

@IlovePondno the GG serum does not tingle. Some hair serums do tingle/sting a bit but not this one. I bought a huge job lot from eBay a couple of years ago and had no issues. I wouldn’t say it was a miracle but it definitely reduced the amount of hair on my hairbrush.
I used other serums over time and some were better than others.
Sticking with the Aromazone one for the time being as I quite like it.

Regarding the JL GWP, does anyone know if it can be used on gadgets (ie a hair removal device)? Did anyone buy something other than skincare/make up to get theirs?

Nope, not the only one 😊I’ve been using Cosrx advanced snail (as opposed to really dumb snail? Always wondered) for years now. I find it makes a very nice buffer for tret.

I have ordered some Aromatica Rosemary shampoo from LF because it is currently on offer with code: FLASH22 and cheaper than ordering from Korea!

I have been very good at not spending recently, but I seem to have gone a bit wild with the shampoo today!

@IlovePond I bought that a few weeks ago and have it ready to try once my Aesop is finished. Have you used it before? I’m excited to try it.

Unintentionally another snail mucin user here too…only discovered that was the case this week (it’s in my azalaic acid!) 🐌

I wouldn’t have opted in intentionally but, actually, it’s fine, as long as I don’t think about it too much 🙈

I tried a snail gel product when they first became available in the UK many years ago. Pure curiosity and also that never ending optimism that this will be the holy grail of transformative skincare. It didn’t do anything for me. Although I didn’t actually know what it was supposed to be doing. I also used the CosrX version, I persevered over 3 bottles and still no difference in the way my skin looked or felt.
There is also the question of how ethical these products are.
A bit like silk or anything containing royal jelly.
I gave up in the end, based on the above.
Interesting to see the comments about new Import Duty, Import VAT, handling charges etc from Korean companies. Does anyone remember Strawberry Net? It was this awesome site where you could find everything and at great prices.
I used it quite a lot and I was shocked at first that I had to pay some sort of import charge. It didn’t fully negate the savings though.

@user593 - I really like the Aromatica Rosemary hair range. I bought some from StyleKorean a while ago after trying a sample they sent me.

I was pleased to see it available at LF. It’s not cheap, but is nice.

I have been using and liking the MOEV treatment cream but not yet got round to the shampoo, so was happy to find it online at TK MAXX today at a very reasonable price. (I should probably have remembered that I hadn’t yet used the shampoo before buying two more bottles today, though 🙈)

I use the serum every day and never had a tingle.

I used to use StrawberryNET all the time! ❤️ I think it’s still going but I haven’t ordered from there in years and years (and years!).

I decided to have another look on TK Maxx as the MZ skin moisturiser was reduced, of course I didn’t bother getting another, but quickly spent over £100 on other stuff 🙈
They have the Foreo Luna mini for £26 so I added that to my haul to try.
I also got another Neom mini pod as they had another colour, so I’ve decided to put the black one I got in DS room…if he doesn’t want it I may even put in my car, it might relax me after a long day in work 🙏

Despite my self-promise to curb my spending now, especially as I’ve not even used my Harrods haul or GWP yet, I’ve gone off the rails this week.
Oh, incidentally, I can’t recall who mentioned it when I was debating sending back my Dior glow palette to Harrods, but you were indeed correct that beauty product returns are not allowed. So I’m stuck with the wrong shades - I’ll still use them, but it’s definitely more for summer holidays than day to day for me. I’m not too disappointed, I just feel a little stung as I’d waited ages to get one due to the cost and me having various other highlighters.

I received a lovely hand written card from SNK yesterday. Offering me a free candle because I’ve nearly reached the deluxe tier. So thoughtful. I really like the effort they put into their rewards scheme.
