Cecilie Bahnsen, OP??! What a great Vinted find!
Her clothes are uber romantic, in an OTT way. I like her frou-frou/frilly tops & skirts together, but would personally leave it to someone younger to carry the entire head-to-toe look off (I'm in my 50s too). Nightmare Ballerina is an excellent description of her clothes, btw, @OtterandaRock !!
Are you usually a casual dresser, OP? Or do you like to be a bit smarter? If you're not keen on pinks or reds next to your face, what colours do you like & suit - & what is your colouring? (It's a pity as I think a richer pink or a bright red would work really well on top!)
I have a couple of Kemi Telford skirts, as mentioned by a PP, & like them with plain fitted cotton T-shirts - or very fine plain jumpers in autumn/winter. Partly to show off the print (not relevant with this skirt), & partly to keep my top half neat in contrast with the fullness of the skirt.
I would normally say white with pink is fine, & classic & summery - but it's such a pale pink that it might just look mismatched? Ditto with cream. It's hard to say just based on a photo - it might be a more obvious pink in reality. Is the fabric a sort of crinkled matte polyester? As contrasting it with a silk/satin shell top might be good?
Personally, I would probably butch it up a bit with black - chunky studded sandals & a black shell top (possibly with a peplum frill at the base). The cap-sleeve T-shirt above would also be good in black. Which is probably not dissimilar to how I'd have worn it in the late 80s/early 90s!
