I am 2 inches shorter than the model, have to wear flat shoes.
Size 8. I want too wear it as much as possible :) I bought it as it is beautiful and cannot find ways to wear it. Thanks for any help!
It looks white on my screen but it is very pale pink.

If you can’t style it surely you’re best off sending it back? What a waste of money

Agree

Have you tried anything like the pictures? Very pretty skirt

faithfultoGeorgeMichael · Yesterday 22:20

It was vinted so I can't send it back, and it is absolutely gorgeous, I am just not great at this. I was hoping for some great ideas rather than a telling off 😂

I can see it is a sugar pink mohair jumper or vest which is not really my sort of thing. Maybe a thin knit cashmere knit, white or cream?

A t-shirt, a vest top

faithfultoGeorgeMichael · Yesterday 22:22

Then for evening could I wear a nice bodysuit?

I'm not very good at this sort of thing, but hopefully some more helpful people will come along soon

I think a T shirt would bunch up at the waist, unless I got a new thinner fabric one

a short sleeve waist length knit

Great choice for a size 8. How about a deep red bodysuit under a very cropped white T shirt? Red + white = pink, and will tone if you choose the right red.

Cropped t shirt or top.

This sounds ideal, if hard to pull off!

Its quite a voluptuous, meringue type of skirt, so something close fitting on the top half, similar to the model? What colours suit you?
Personally, I wouldn't want to sit, EVER, for fear of getting it grubby .

I used to be a size 6-8 in the 1990s to 2010s!
A very long see through glittery loose weave tunic with a skinny camisole or solid colour bra is what I might have done.
Or a cropped black leather bomber jacket and a silvery vest tucked in.
Or bold black and yellow and white geometrics/florals. Tie front shirt tied high.

Yep nothing too pretty because it already has that. I’d look at contrasting the prettiness and volume. I’d try cropped t shirts - maybe slightly wide, maybe fitted and something with a bit of contrast so a graphic print or a stripe. A grey marle or charcoal grey possibly. For shoes I’d avoid anything too dainty so no ballet flats. Trainers or an ugly sandal and a tote bag.

Sometimes I use Google lens and find ideas that way. If you try that please report back and let us know what you find.

You could also exaggerate the prettiness in a Nightmare Ballerina way. Would be fun.

Snippit · Yesterday 22:36

How about a waist length cross over top that ties at the back, (similar to the ones ballerinas wear). The top needs to be simple and close fitting due to the volume of the skirt.

this is lovely but my skin tone looks grey if I have pink or red near my face 😂if it was cream or white....
