Red and white gingham maxi skirt

I got this skirt in a charity shop today, will it look ridiculous on me:-

I don’t love the tiered skirt look but I love gingham and although it gives tablecloth vibes I’m a sucker for the print - wear it!

I think it's gorgeous. Don't wear it with a white tshirt though. What about a pale pink top with red trainers and a blue jacket?

I love it and don't think you should restrict yourself to only wearing it with white. Pale pinks and blues look great with red.

I love it. I suspect if you are tall, willowy and otherwise well turned out it will look great, if you are on the shorter side or carrying any weight it might not do you any favours.

Gingham is a basic summer staple !
My daughter 24 has 3 of these and she always looks lovely and gets a lot of compliments when she wears them !
She wears them with high neck tank tops waist jewellery belts and doc martins sandals !

I love gingham, cute skirt! I agree with pps suggesting wearing with a top other than white, could be more interesting, but it would be hard to get right I think this would look nice with a layered look, so a fitted vest under a loose floaty top both in white, with some sandals.

I love it! I don't think you need to be tall and willow at all. And although I like the suggestions of pairing it with other colours, I also think it'll look fab with white.

I have a denim jacket. And white vest top. And pink vest top. Think I’ll just try some different combos with it.

I was amazed to find it! Good old RSPCA. I was even more shocked to find it was current season. I got a cute yellow floral strappy top (Primark) in another charity shop (Shelter) plus my mum’s birthday card so I’ve done well yesterday.

Very nice! I’d be happy to wear that, probably with a navy or pink t shirt.

it comes in lots of different colours but all sold out. There’s a black and white one on Depop though.

I think I’m going to wear it tomorrow night but with a whistles long sleeved red tshirt top and cowboy boots in dark brown.
