Quick Liberty/Lisa Eldridge update:

V impressed that I got a message this morning to tell me that a replacement for the Rose Madder Velatura is on its way. That was simple and quick.

So I mashed together the broken one to try it out and I'm so impressed. I tried it as a blusher (I have only worn blusher since having my colours 'done' and still haven't found one that feels right) and it's great - easy to apply and blend and a really good colour. And it's great as a lipstick - more balm like as you'd expect but a good colour and just the right amount of shine. Not sure how well it will last but we'll see.

Highly recommended!

I wore the Tana Meadow fragrance last night. Got a tiny one in the beauty drop but I believe it is the fragrance you get in the latest edit. My DH described it as very subtle and that he had to get right up close to smell it, Then he described the scent as ‘like the Hard Rock hotel’ 🥺

If you're thinking of a powder might be worth a try. My heart sank when I got it, thought it would be too shimmery but it's not.

Ive just gone for the john lewis. You click on the reward and it adds it automatically. I added it to basket snd couldn't understand why it didnt knock the price off so deleted it and left checkout then went back in and was there. I had to pay £11 for next morning delivery as away tomorrow pm to fri pm.
It hurt. 🤣 A lot. 🤪 i hate paying for delivery but I know id be stressing as to when it would come and didn't want it left outside.

Re the good genes @fillybuster my skin loved the lactic acid one. Theres 2. I tried the gycolic for a while and was ok but preferred the lactic acid one. The glycolic one has been around awhile, the lactic came to UK around this time last year I think. It is gentler. I used at night a few times a week but then because I was getting such great results using the decree that was in ch kit and gg I overused and damaged barrier. I now leave the gg on as a mask for 10 mins every now and again which my skin is tolerating. Minefield. Lesson learnt. I think 🤔

I tried the Good Genes glycolic last night and felt a bit spiky/itchy so I think it might not suit me…

It can feel a bit tingly. I went for a Sunday riley facial and she said it tingles a bit. If uncomfortable rinse off. X

Thanks @Doglover73 I have sensitive skin so at times It’s too hard to tell if it’s meant to be like that or is just my skin having a moment! I’m going to put it aside!

Mines the same. Maybe sensible thing to do as acids make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and its sunny for once.
Mine skin is a minefield. I need to be careful as cause more issues than I solve ♥️

I'm not doing very well with my deliveries recently! Ordered the Hearst beauty box bundle, not realising that it needed a signature. RM tried to deliver it last Thurs, Fri and Sat (even though I booked redelivery for next Sat as on holiday until then) and then today they've left it with an unknown neighbour! 🙈🤯

It's not in my bleedin' rewards section! Grrr

Have you joined their Beauty thing? They launched it a couple of weeks ago. I can't remember if I had to actively do anything or just got automatically joined up as I already had an account. It added lots of beauty specific offers in the rewards section (no different to what they had before, just with a new 'My JL Beauty' banner on them)

I have JL my beauty stuff tagged on my rewards so I'm guessing so. Just not this! If they don't want me to spend my money that's fine :)

My Harrods order turned up today and I'm quite pleased with it - probably won't use the Color Wow or Elasticizer (I doubt it's even worth trying to sell them) and really need to make time to use my stash of masks, but otherwise all good. And means I can resist the JL one.
Although I don't remember this being part of the GWP...

My Stylevana order finally arrived. Super chuffed with the sun cushion and spf spray, hopeful for the eyebrow pencil, pimple patch gone to the teen and there was a free sachet of Round Lab birch juice something.

If anyone else was keeping their eye on the What’s Hot edit from Latest in Beauty, looks like some vouchers are working on it and I managed to pick it up for £44 instead of £62. I have been waiting for it to go under £50 before ordering.
I have been watching them and think as soon as they announce a new edit that offer a bigger reduction on the last one - at least that’s my theory

I’m on the fence with the JL GWP. I’d quite like a few bits from it, and I could buy the summer edit I’ve been considering as part of my spend, but there’s really not much I need right now that gets me to the 200. I’ve had a bottle of acqua di gioia (which was my go to summer perfume years ago) in my basket for a few weeks which is down to 100, so that, plus the edit plus a fancy bottle of molton brown shower gel for dh, just about get me to the spend. Pondering….
