Why is a good v neck tee really hard to find??

Am I really asking for the moon on a stick??

I'm apple shaped and V neck tees suit me. However, all I'm seeing right now are crew necks. They look fine when I'm wearing an open jacket over them, but otherwise I just look ... square.

To make matters more difficult, I'm very long waisted and many tops out there right now only come to my belly button. Not a good look.

About 3 or 4 years ago, m&s were selling exactly what I was looking for - v neck tees in long length (but not long on me) in a cotton / viscose (I think) mix that draped really nicely. They washed really well and are only now starting to look a bit faded.

But I can't find anything similar. So - can anyone help?? Slightly longer than standard V neck tees - good basics that go with anything. Thank you!!

These are not going to win any fashion awards but I wear them for work under jackets, the material is quite thick and they have a double layer at the front, they are fitted and wash well. Shop local to me sells them and I have a few colours now.

I’m the same, broad shoulders so can’t do round neck, this is so nice.

Not read all the way through, but I never see recommendations on MN for any basics from Dunnes Stores? Lots of well-priced T-shirts, including several types of V-neck.

The cotton traders ones are quite long too. Probably because they are unisex. I dont like short Ts.

Was going to say Cotton Traders. In some good colours as well.

I bought a couple of these t-shirts, they look really good - not worth full price but definitely good value at £13. They fit me well, so thank you @Roaminginthegloaming .

Uniqlo do a v neck linen t shirt.
Zara have a cotton one.
Hush are normally very good for t shirts.

My cotton traders and amazon T shirts arrived, the Amazon are ok fit well but might go out of shape love the Cotton traders ones.

Are the Cotton Traders ones thick cotton? I don't like the thin ones that show every bump and cling.
I saw some v necks in Crew Clothing. Nice colours and length, but very thin cotton.

They are cotton and no cling i also hate that, I bought a long and short sleeve and im pleased with them both.

Yes they are good quality thick cotton. I’ve bought several over the years.

Morrisons nutmeg T shirts are fab. V neck and longer length. Although mainly just in black or white rhey occasionally do different colours in them. They are a great cut and not boxy

Can't seem to get a clicky link to work but I have a couple of these Love and Roses t-shirts from Next and they are really comfortable and flattering. They come in lots of colours, are a good length (I'm 5'6" and they come just below my hip) and are non-clingy too

Our Morrisons has a tiny Nutmeg, I have bought a few things and ther wear welll but it is just what they have in.

I bought a,load of v neck tshirts for dialysis from Amazon haul. Ive been impressed by 3 out of the 4 and the 4th is OK.
