I have a summer wedding to go to and am super excited.

I love pale greens and blues. I don't need anything too long or too short.

I am over 60, pretty short (5'2), can't wear heels, overweight, apple-shaped, and would rather not show tops of my arms or too much cleavage!

I love this dress. It is pretty much top of my price range.

Classier knits like the Kate one do fit! The Etsy ones look lumpy and don’t fit well - but up to op. Better for casual wear and not a wedding.

The second bag, definitely. Love it. Will go with both dresses.

The jacket is nice, too.

The Zara jackets are way more on trend than the Wallis ones.

I wouldn't buy clothes from Amazon. It's similar to the Wallis and Lipsey ones so I would stick with them.

Phase Eight and Hobbs do nice elegant cropped jackets that would go nicely with the Wallis dress. I think navy would dull it down - green would be nice and fresh.

Please don’t go with a cardigan or a knit. It’s an instant dress-down and can very easily look dowdy.

Each to their own but I think one of Palava 's lovely cotton cardigans would look a gazillion times better than that. That and the JJ's House outfit would be my worst nightmare.

Why not? Independent, UK retailer. All of their clothes are made in the UK except the cotton cardigans which are organic cotton from a supplier in Turkey they've worked with for years and inspect the factory. Plus, I haven't seen anything nicer.

I think the jacket looks fine, but I would bear in mind that clothing from Amazon can be badly made and come up small. Would be worth ordering if you are able to return. I wonder if you maybe better with one of the alternative blues as chances are the navy won’t be quite the same navy as the second dress with the plain navy skirt so may look a bit mismatched, and perhaps better if it’s in a toning blue? So hard to tell actual colour online though and you maybe lucky and find it a perfect match.

I think that the first one would probably suit you better and it's one that you could wear ore easily after the wedding.

That's a pretty dress. I'm always wary of horizontal stripes for the same reason!
