I have a summer wedding to go to and am super excited.

I love pale greens and blues. I don't need anything too long or too short.

I am over 60, pretty short (5'2), can't wear heels, overweight, apple-shaped, and would rather not show tops of my arms or too much cleavage!

I love this dress. It is pretty much top of my price range.

I personally prefer the bolero, I've just had a look & id go for the Navy, I like the detailing on the back, but go with whatever you will be more comfortable in.

The dress has dark blue and green and I'm kind of keen to avoid white or cream really.

Yes I think Navy/some other Blue will go well.

Is there no shorter jacket. You don’t want too long over fit and flare and definitely not a granny bolero. Is there a navy shorter one?

Zara has a number of cropped, navy jackets. Here's 2 but there are others on their website. Jacket should be no longer than waist length.

@PhaedraTwo Most of them! Never worn by anyone younger. Would a 30 year old be seen dead in one? Obviously not. Who wants a jacket that is essentially just sleeves and rounded flaps at the front? When did you last see Princess Kate or anyone with style go near one? They are best avoided and would spoil the look here. A decent dress needs a decent jacket.

Boleros may not currently be in fashion (although as far as I’m concerned they remain part of appropriate wedding guest wear), but those jackets look like something that is part of a formal work suit. They don’t go with OP’s dress at all.

The op said navy or green. So what navy jacket doesn’t look like work wear? Almost impossible. A high quality light tweed effect is classy and green is incredibly difficult to match. I think every jacket is what can be worn to work and that’s why smart women always have one that coordinates with the dress. Where that’s not possible, op has a navy jacket, bolero or nothing as a choice.

I have another wedding in the autumn. So I am keeping both dresses. I rarely buy anything not from a supermarket or charity shop! So I need accessories to work with both!

I think a dark plain navy blue jacket and shoulder bag will go with both my dresses.
