I just want knee length denim shorts. Which appear to no longer exist! Instead it’s Jorts.

At least it makes more sense than shants (not sure to what extent that happened IRL, but those memes made me cry with laughter).

I will not buy anything with a stupid name, there's one for those dreadful trainer/sandals horrors too.

Agree!! @Toddlerteaplease have you looked at next? I found some nice denim shorts on their website. They're rolled up but they roll down to a little above the knee, so possibly not long enough but worth a look. Only think I didn't realise is they're button closed rather than button and zip, which is a faff!

I was about to whine about jorts not being for me (I'd rather wear my Daisy Dukes!!) but those are lovely...

Folks asking about pedal pushers - I got Rag & Bone's Simone ponte capris last summer, plus a pair of denim pedal pushers from Mango. I have worn them everywhere from the office to the zoo and got loads of compliments. So while I think it would be stretching it to say that style has made a full-blown comeback, clearly plenty of folk like it! & I found them very comfortable, easy to style, and (not my favourite word but hey ho) flattering. Size 14, hourglass, 5 foot 5, if that info is useful.
