In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

In celebration I thought I'd try out a poll. It runs for 7 days, there was only 6 options so comment in the thread for those that come under 'Other'.

Uum yeah that guy is awful @LouScot , you are well rid and it’s good he dropped the veneer and showed how he really thinks now and escorted himself out. I’m sorry he was so unnecessarily hurtful. It’s absolutely no reflection on you, and says everything about him. He is definitely not lovely. No need to mention the weight at all, and probably not even a factor (or he wouldn’t have dated you in the first place) he just likes keeping women down.

@LouScot I agree with @BakeOffRewatch . You were not hiding who you were and he chose you initially. He's now just looking for an exit and decided to make you the problem not him. You deserve better and I am sure you will find it

Can’t recall who asked for the expiry dates from the Next box - this is proving harder than I thought as none of the brands are on the usual places, wish they could be more like k beauty products and print it on the actual product.
The baths salts do have the date and they are 9/27; Korres is LOT 5434106; Margaret Dabbs 252881; Patchology 24353; This Works 602202 in case anyone else knows a way to find the expiry dates.

@LouScot what an awful thing to say to you, absolutely no need to mention weight at all. There are all sorts of ways he could have broken things off without trying to damage your self confidence. The batch code is often on the seam of the tube or printed on the base of a tub. It’s usually a combination of letters and numbers.

It’s a good sign that the bath salts are in date - I’m sure the rest are fine too.

I agree that all cosmetics should follow SKorea’s lead and have the dates on!

I am restraining myself from buying the Jarrolds box.

They finally sent me a 15% off code as a new customer which works on the box, bringing it down to just under £30. However, the postage charge is annoying me and I don’t need anymore stuff.

I love the FS Arizona Bloom perfume, though - so it is tempting.

@LouScot How awful for you. It’s disappointing when you like someone and then realise it’s going nowhere. He absolutely didn’t need to mention your weight at all, he knew about your weight the first time he saw you and still proceeded to date and sleep with you, so it seems he was faking feeling like a dick to make himself look better when in actual fact he was being unbelievably nasty. You deserve better and you will find Mr Right - in the meantime you absolutely deserve a treat. Depending on your budget I’d say either the Debenhams edit that has been reduced (it also has Decree in it) or one of the new Dior lipsticks (I’m still trying to decide on a colour)

I have bought a lot of perfume recently but AB is my favourite!

Really tempted as I've just used up my Arizona Bloom and I love it, but I've got the M&S skincare bag waiting for pickup at may local M&S (where I can pop it in my bag while shopping and bring it into the house unseen). That Laura Mercier stick is very pretty though...

The welcome 15% is time limited. I think it's valid for about a month so factor that in too. I suppose they might do another edit you can use it on in that time, hard to say though.

I wasn't even sure whether to mention, but CB have 20/25% off if you spend £60+/£120+ for Gold members. Not for me but if anyone had something big in their basket it might be helpful

Works on the WA edits but not the Fair one. Will they ever reduce that one?
