Tourist oriented. I still don’t understand where this sardine craze came from, and I’m from a country where they’re a staple (now a gift shop staple as well).

I actually really love the style and colours of the first one - blue sardines with red trim! But, it’s a pity it looks as though “sardines” is spelled incorrectly across the top?! It reads SRADINES.

My two pennorth...
Not keen on the one that actually says 'sardines': much too literal. We can see they're small fish; we're not idiots. The blue and white is much better (having just the one colour helps as it's less garish - although inevitably my 'garish' will be someone else's 'bold and striking'). My only objection is a personal dislike of designs with midline symmetry - if the fish were merrily swimming all round the skirt it would get a definite thumbs-up from me. The other dress is much safer, but also much less interesting and less fun.

I'm French and have never heard of "sardine dresses" or seen them before. I wouldn't say they are French.

However I do like the white and blue one with spaghetti straps!
