I'm up in the air. They're surprisingly comfortable, not sure about the heel.

The gap is because they haven't stretched out at all. They're pretty soft suede, so that will definitely happen.

Return, normally I can find something positive to say about things even if they are not to my taste but those are just awful.

But I take the general consensus!

I don't like that either. I hate things between my toes.

👎 they make your quite nice dainty feet look wide. (and as if you'd have to clench your toes to keep them on).

Not good, too much sole showing in front of your toes and they look cheap because of it and the heel. I’d return,

But you need half to a full size smaller, or, once the suede has relaxed, they’ll be flapping somewhere near your feet and tripping you up and breaking your ankles.

They're incredibly comfortable and easy to walk in, surprisingly. It's one of the reasons I was on the fence.

I bought these at the same time and they've already gone back as they're much harder to walk in.

I quite like them in that they look fun and you say they're comfortable.

The sling backs are far more elegant but you did the right thing in returning them.

I actually like them from the front, just not keen on the heel. I think they would be nice if they were flat.

Recognised the stitching. I was very taken with the look of the strap mules - but it will take me a lifetime to recover from a day I spent, years ago, in similar heeled mules. Never again …

They’re so ugly that I like them but I couldn’t bear that toe loop and they are too long for your feet.

I like the strap mules too, but they look less supportive. The pair I have is 36, so already the smallest size.

This is the question - out ahead and fashion forward, or never to be spoken of again experiment? My sister, who is usually spot on, is insisting it's the former.
