My DS is getting married the end of May. The wedding is going to be a relaxed barn/field/festival vibe.

I’m mid 60s size 12. My usual style is very casual and I like to feel a bit alternative without actually standing out and looking like a slightly bonkers ageing hippy.

Where might I start looking for something that fits this admittedly fairly narrow spec?

You’re all nailing my style, here. I’d better save the thread in case I get a special occasion 🤣

Try Farm Rio - https://farmrio.uk/products/berry-garden-red-long-sleeve-pleated-maxi-dress

A bit pricier than your budget, but lovely

I Iove this dress

@user593That Bexley Chiffon dress is beautiful - a little pricy however! I’m thinking up to £150 max really

That Bexley dress reminds me of a Dancing Leopard style dress. Why not try them instead. I dont think they are as expensive. Alternatively get on Vinted and reverse image search the Bexley

After a certain age, and I am abolutely in that territory, I think washed out pastels no matter how tasteful are not very flattering - I'm a pale blonde and I just look ill in them. Medium saturated shades - nothing overbright or neon - tend to be so much more flattering. Do you want some kind of sleeve?

Im agnostic regarding sleeves - its a late May wedding so may not be super hot
