It's more buildable than Merit so you could overdo it. For a softer look I would swipe the brush on the stick or apply to the back of your hand first. It blends out nicely but doing a straight to cheek swipe will result in a bolder look.

Hand swatch below. Left is one swipe and right is one swipe blended out. Not the best lighting and it looks better on my cheeks than hand but hopefully it gives you an idea. Like it's name it's a really nice sun kissed colour.

I’m using some ikea storage for my stash. Drawer organisers for the things in waiting and two little cubes for my current day and night products. The things in waiting use at both end of the day get swapped from one to the other, time-specific products stay in their cube.

Well I've fallen for the no7 x stackers deal. It actually came to £50 with the save 10 code. To get the deal i purchased some eye patches, that were buy one get one half price, then a grinding cleanser, and bronzing pearls. Now I'm not a fan of no7 but these things can be easily used on holiday. I'm not sure what is in the stacker but I can offload to friends and family if needs be.

Does anyone have any predictions on when the beauty easter eggs will be released/on sale? I know it was a fairly new thing last year, but surely there will be eggs this year? Easter is early this year, and only 8 weeks away!

I just wanted to mention the Avant from the face the future box. I’ve always dismissed Avant - hype and price but I used it this morning because my skin felt tight (after a Trinny moisturiser which is rubbish). And it’s actually quite nice, skin feels plump, it’s not greasy, sinks in well.

That’s a very tempting box …

I’d like it for the LM cavier stick if that’s the shade.

I like the Urban Apothecary range. I had a bodywork of theirs from another Next box and it's lovely. I've also finally started using PK products and like them.

Edit - ive had an UA bodywash before - flippin' auto correct is driving me nuts!

I'm hoping i might be able to offload the lipstick and lip liner to make a bit of cash back - but it's a good deal regardless, and I'll use all the other products.

Tried VBB Orchid this morning. I like it a lot more than I thought I would so buyer's remorse is no more. Although I will say the shimmer shade is a bit disappointing, it doesn't apply quite how I thought it would from the palette.

Overall I like the look I've got and it's wearable for me in a way that I don't think the deeper VBB palettes would be.

The caviar stick retails at £28 - so the box is definitely worth it if you want that shade.

I mentioned this before, I love that cream! It's the only Avant thing I've repurchased and I use it all the time. Often on Vinted if anyone wants to RP

I ended up placing an order with Cosmic Brushes. I got the Undergrowth palette, two lipsticks, two blushes, a lip pencil and the cheapest brush to get free delivery (actually saved me a few pounds). I don't need any of it but I haven't used any indie brands for years and really liked the look of these.

I’m a bit confused by the description of the Next box, which refers to a setting powder - not something I would EVER want. Has anyone ordered it yet?
