The Next box is an easy pass for me. Thank goodness. Dont wear red lipsticks. Im drowning in stuff to sell so dont want anymore. Ifcorse if you know you'll use most of them its a good price. Im debating getting another john lewis box reduced. But giving myself a virtual slap everytime I look at it 🤣🤣
I certainly dont need it.

I really like it too. It’s lovely to use and makes my skin feel soft and dewy.

Can relate to the virtual slap. I have to do this so often. For every low buy fail I have there's usually at least another 5 or more where I have succeeded in pulling myself back from the brink. So I guess we should celebrate the wins! 😂

@Doglover73 I keep debating another JL box too, it’s sat in my basket but I keep telling myself I don’t need it.

I have resisted the last two Next boxes and have been trying to sell and destash this weekend.

My Debenhams arrived yesterday and happy with it and looking forward to trying the fragrances.
The VBB palette is still in the hands of Evri, I hope they deliver tomorrow although have had the LE Betty to play with this weekend.

I want to know which JL box too. I'm trying to be better then January with not buying anything, but one more purchase won't hurt 😉

I got a notification from Look Fantastic this morning to say that Ysl has 25% off with them. I got excited and went to order the blush in fuchsia fizz, but it seems that shade isn't included, so I've managed to not buy anything today so far, well apart from a teacake and coffee at costa 😋

Mine was the JL rejuvenate box. I recently gave in and ordered not 1 but 2 of the beauty crackers after initially dismissing them 😅

I've ordered this to collect tomorrow, will report back with confirmation of the contents as the RRP is confusing me compared to the products in the ingredients list 🤔

I'm also very very very tempted by the Betty palette - is it as stunning as it looks? I have beauty drop credit that would cover it, so with girl maths it's basically free...

Next are really good with returns, so if it doesn't match the ingredients list it should be easy to get a refund. I take their descriptions of beauty boxes with a pinch of salt now after the beauty lovers one.

I reckon the contents should be worth around £115

If the box is totally different it's worth calling their customer service, as you might get a refund and be gifted the box as a gesture of goodwill.

I haven't bought anything today. I've spent most of the day writing an assignment for a course I'm on. It's all finished and submitted now and I'm feeling like I need a small treat. 😂Nothing is really grabbing me currently though which is probably for the best.

@keepincool - the Mystery Box. I clicked on the ingredients, which were as you listed. Then I got confused by the description for the box on the Next site which mentioned setting powder!

I went rl shopping today.

Boots had the dregs of the 70% off sale - so disappointing after last year’s!

I bought 2 Paul Smith gift sets - 1 with the travel EDT and one with the body spray. I was going to save them for next Xmas for DS2, but someone had created testers and when I sprayed them, they were really nice, so…MINE now 😹 (DS2 is known for giving back his Xmas/birthday presents when he doesn’t like them -most recently yesterday 🙀- so I don’t feel guilty!)

I also got a Dr Althea moisturiser and a Tocobo gift set in clearance. I am very pleased with these and will try to squash them into my DIY refilled Liberty a/c for 2026.

I went out to buy Trinny Elevator in the birthday sale, got 2 refills which gave me 20% off. Then added a little mirror to take it over £100 and got to spin a wheel for a freebie which was a Lip2Cheek in shade Freddie, fortunately one of my match2me shades! Sadly it didn’t also stack with the Jarrolds £5 voucher on £50 spend - I learned that Trinny and Jo Malone are the only ones that are true separate concessions rather than counters - but I’m not that upset, the freebie would be £28!!

Then I was on a roll! Bought jeans and 2 vest tops in Primark!

And then I tried on more jeans in Mango but they were too long.

I have loads of eye palettes already, however I do not regret buying Betty, the colours look so nice on and blend like a dream

I’m very pleased with the bargain toaster I found in TKMAXX today. DH managed to break ours, (I don’t know how he does it, but it happens a lot), and I just happened to see a Cuisinart four slicer with almost 70% off.

It’s a thing of beauty, (unlike everything else in our kitchen), and I love it!

There is an unboxing of the Next box on YouTube, not sure if it could be a selection of the products but not all listed under the ingredients are in the box and the LM was a travel size and different shade.

I'll be returning too if that's the case, I've had the wrong things in boxes from them before and let it slide, but i'm raising my standards 😁

Is it “wrong” if it was a mystery box though? Is the ingredients list just showing possible contents for allergens?

Oh have I found my people!!

Skincare/hair stuff and make up has been my absolute favourite thing to buy since forever. Total sucker for a “bargain”!!
