I'm have a long day in the car as bringing dc back to university & its 3.5 hrs each way

Its cold & damp here so i'm wearing

Soft straight leg jeans with a deep turn up in a mid wash

Navy sweatshirt with navy applique flower on front

Navy stripey socks

Mainly blue but colourful Hoff trainers

Anthropologie oversized scarf in red / pink

When i'm out of the car i have a long oversized cream coat

Plum leather whistles cross body bag

Not the most exciting outfit but its warm & comfortable.

My goal this year is to build up my weekend (non office or going out)

Black ankle grazer jeans - think they were from F&F or Tu, definitely a supermarket anyway as I bought them on holiday somewhere there were no other clothing options and I needed an extra pair of jeans in an emergency!

boring but i need to be boring at work in how i dress… it is frustrating!!! When i was young, and in a different career, everyday was like an episode of sex and the city 🤣🤣

@RobinEllacotStrikeI pretty much only wear black, grey or leopard print! In summer I might stretch to the occasional monochrome Breton stripe or a dark print on a black background 😎

I slightly make up for it by having a very vivid colour panel in my hair. Blue at the moment but it’s also been forest green and previously a bright scarlet red.

I wore my NHS uniform all day and now Im home trying on two jumpers I bought from Roman.
One is a hideous monstrosity that fits really well and the other is lovely but the fit is all wrong and Ill need to send it back for a size 10, Im actually a 12. I really wish sizing was accurate. There aren't many shops here so I have to order online and nothing ever fits.

Today was a Brakeburn denim dress and snag tights. The dress is now a bit too big and I am dithering about whether to buy some winter things in a smaller size or just push through with what I've got a keep on buying spring stuff in the smaller size. Decisions, decisions!

Met my friend for lunch today wearing indigo Cos barrel jeans, red half zip Mango jumper over a standard white Uniqlo tee, leopard print Samba trainers with red laces. Long black wool coat from Weekday and a black snood thing from Urban Outfitters, brown Cos bag. Silver hardware on the jumper so I had to hide my usual gold necklaces under my tee - silver Christopher Kane “more joy” necklace, and twisted silver hoops from Oliver Bonas.

As someone who has lost 50 kg over 18 months I say hang in there with what you have @petitpasta - save your ££ for some nice new spring/summer clothes. Sounds like you will be needing some, and any new purchases of winter stuff you buy now you probably wont you fit next winter anyway.

Big sunnies from Joanie because it wasn’t raining for the first time in three weeks.

I just bought myself a longline chunky white cable knit jumper from Baukjen for my birthday next week and cant wait to wear it.
