Tacky crap, support your local independent jewellers or buy something more unique on Etsy.

Tried that and the silver bangles fell apart and bent.

If you like it buy it. It doesn’t matter what posters on MN think, you’ll never meet them. It’s the same with barbour jackets and hunter wellies. Wear what you like.

What on earth is meant to be wrong with a Barbour jacket? A substantial proportion of rural Britain is clad in Barbour jackets?!

PumpkinSpicedLattes · 22/12/2025 13:52

I’m not much of a jewellery wearer, but I have a couple of pretty silver necklaces and rings from Pandora.

DallasMinor · 22/12/2025 13:53

Overpriced tacky tat.

BeeCucumber · 22/12/2025 13:57

Looks like I’m common and chavy with a side of tacky. I love my Pandora bangles and happily wear them with my Cartier tennis bracelet.

Ineedanewsofa · 22/12/2025 13:58

I have a nice pair of studs from there, must be 12 years old and have lasted very well.
I really don’t like chunky or dangly jewellery so the charm bracelets are not for me! I also think they are expensive for what they are but if the bracelets last as well as my earrings have then maybe not…

Middleaged73 · 22/12/2025 14:00

Naff - it is also expensive for what it is.

EverythingIsComputer · 22/12/2025 14:02

@Cyclingmummy1you’re spot on there too, can’t understand the love for MV. That and Pandora seem popular with people for the hard of thinking and need to be spoon fed on what to buy wear. I know I’m being really catty, if you have something from these places and enjoy them then good for you but I feel people are being taken advantage of paying a lot of money for something that’s not worth it.

At least a Barbour is made in Britain rather than China.

ThePoshUns · 22/12/2025 14:03

I like their rings and earrings. I think they are pretty. Although have just upgraded to a gold ring. Some people are some snobby on here.

Roosch · 22/12/2025 14:04

Tacky as heck.
Especially when bracelets are loaded up and jangly.

FlatWhiteExtraHot · 22/12/2025 14:04

Oh joy! Another thread where all the sheep can tell us how naff we are 🙄.

TeaRoseTallulah · 22/12/2025 14:05

Cyclingmummy1 · 22/12/2025 13:49

I love mine.

But then, I dont understand the hype over plated or vermeil from the likes of Monica Vinader so each to their own.

MN tends to love MV ,I I love them because they were a gift but compared to John Taylor Garland they aren't good quality at all and really over priced.

VisitingInkMonitor · 22/12/2025 14:20

Blimey the Christmas spirit is missing in some of these replies. Clearly loads of people love Pandora or there wouldn’t be so many shops would there. Wouldn’t the world be an awful place if we all liked the same things.

if we are being judgy though I’m judging all you people using the word chavvy very harshly. It’s not a pleasant word to bandy about

A substantial proportion of Britain is wearing Pandora too.

You haven't heard the joke about about Barbour then?😂

readystdygo · 22/12/2025 14:22

I think its ok for teens/tweens. I wouldn't wear it as an adult.

My teen has one and she only gets charms on it when we go on holiday so each one represents a family memory/Holiday.

Clearly not. I made no comment on Pandora. I've heard the complaints that hunter wellies have been picked up as a fashion item.

Just baffled that all the farmers round here are apparently committing some some sort of fashion crime I was unaware of.

Rippleok · 22/12/2025 14:26

My 12 year old asked for it for christmas.
enough said

C152 · 22/12/2025 14:29

Cheap. If you like jewellery, treat yourself to something that is good quality (doesn't have to cost a fortune - 2nd hand jewellery is often a bargain).

lifeonmars100 · 22/12/2025 14:32

DappledThings · 22/12/2025 12:23

Totally tacky.

And yet pretentious too. SIL collected them for a bit and we went to a store to get her some beads one Christmas. They were making people queue outside the shop even though there were only 2 people inside being served so they could make it look more popular and ramp up the drama. Absolute eyeroll.

Noticed that outside the one in my city, seems to be a Christmas tradition! Personally, it is not to my taste as I think it is bland dull and overpriced but I don't doubt a Pandora fan wouldt like my taste in jewellery

CantThinkOfAnotherUsernane · 22/12/2025 14:33

I wear my Pandora bracelet because I like it. My 18 year old dd asked for one for Christmas. If you like something then wear it who cares what anyone else thinks

Bobbedhairdontcare · 22/12/2025 14:35

Not all tacky, I bought a beautiful slim silver bangle from there, I love it and have had many compliments about it. It was just over £100 and very similar from online jewellers were much more expensive.

ShesTheAlbatross · 22/12/2025 14:44

The charm bracelets aren’t really my style but some of the earrings are perfectly fine (and I suspect wouldn’t be noticed by the people insisting the whole brand is tacky and common).

gogomomo2 · 22/12/2025 14:47

Overpriced in my opinion, my dd and my dsd love it

EchoedSilence · 22/12/2025 14:47

I like it.

OP you must have known the snobs on MN would say it was cheap, tacky, common, chavvy.

NancyJoan · 22/12/2025 14:48

Incredibly expensive for what it is, a really triumph of marketing. It’s also not to my taste, but that’s by the by.
