Maybe. If it was just me I'd be more confident but as @MrsBnow12 says above that's at least 3 of us with wrong items so they might be less keen on that solution. It was only the 10ml travel size though, not full size.

I felt rather lost after the advent threads finished so am glad I have found you all. ♥️

I am trying not to buy more beauty products but have also made a couple of Vinted purchases. Just today I bought another Valmont moisturiser for £20. I felt I had to for that price! 😆
I would have so joined you with the Harrods purchases if I had spotted them in time!

When I read product reviews now many read very AI written. Anyone else? For example. It may be that they wrote it then asked ai to summarise but when you already are sceptical of reviews...

Thanks so much for sharing those bargains! I’ve managed to avoid the Elemis and Tatcha, was very tempted by Tatcha as love the indigo cream but have some left and trying to shop my stash ( also still seem to have sensitive skin after my periods dermatitis and can’t use Elemis atm!)
On a slightly different topic, do any of you use any micro current devices? I was looking at LED masks last year but have retinal issues so they’re not recommended. I’ve done some research and had microcurrent recommended but wondered if anyone has used and seen any benefits before I pop one on my birthday list! Thanks

I also felt the same after the advents. Those pages got me through a tough December and i loved seeing 30 comments to read on posts. I miss them. Hopefully the book one will now take their place.

I keep buying more stuff from the Harrods sale. I've spent £18 on p&p alone because I keep making separate orders 🙈 I've found something else I want to order but I'm going to sleep on it / try to find more stuff 🤣

@Doglover73 @pinkchampagne1 that's basically how these threads got going last year. After advent season a bunch of us hung about chatting and sharing deals until the final advent thread was full then we squatted moved here. The first couple in this series of threads was started by another poster @Giftwithpurchase who is still around and posts from time to time and fortunately didn't mind those of us with advent withdrawal jumping in.

So glad for this, love chatting all things beauty 😍 and getting some of these great deals that get posted 💁🏻‍♀️

I am one of the leftovers from last years advent threads and this is such a great place to hang out, I had a challenging year last year and the thread and people on it are just so lovely and I love chatting all things beauty and sharing the bargains we find, very grateful for @OvaHere taking over running this one.
@JoRaRaRa what else have you found? I have got the Tatcha lip set coming and glad the Versace you mentioned had sold out, I am still tempted with the Chantecaille eye shadows but am resisting as bought a Viseart palette and still waiting for my Beautylish mystery bag

I went back and ordered the Bioeffect set (I know, I know...😳) after realising I had a rewards voucher I should have used on the Elemis order but in my haste missed.

I've not looked again since and I'm not going to. Low buy has already been derailed a bit too much.

To appease my conscience I'm going to name something I haven't bought this week - anything from the new Rouge Noir collection from Chanel. I've been drooling a bit over the colours since the promo shots came out but I've talked myself down. It's an absolute no no especially since I got the Hourglass palette for Christmas. It's a beautiful collection though - total catnip but very pricey.😂

My thing I have not bought is anything from the new Dior collection and have had a few lip oils in my basket.

I do keep swooning over things but am trying to be sensible given I’ve got a few BACs that I haven’t even opened yet! I was only tempted by Elemis due to it being my staple brand.
The Bioeffect offers are good, but I haven’t used it before despite buying the serum a couple of months back off Vinted

I'm looking at the Eve Lom set with the radiant retinol serum. I've mentioned a few times that I'm a big fan of Eve Lom, but I've already got a few retinol serums in my stash, realistically to last me around 18 months, maybe more as I don't actually use it every night. Maybe I should wait and try one on offer next year 🤔

@OvaHere I think it's difficult to say no to bioeffect at that price. There is the risk that it'll come up in an edit this year and be cheaper, but I'll probably get that too if it happens 🤣

It's making me laugh how we all seemed to have only lasted a week on our no / low buy goals 🤣🤣 Oh well, there's always next year 🤣
