I went back on to order the guerlain foundation that I use. Why didn't I think to buy it last night? 😔 The code has gone. Nevermind, not much I can do about it. Fingers crossed that we all get our orders 💃

I'm getting regret over one of the items I impulsively purchased which I may well send back anyway so not fussed if they get recalled, I do think CB won't get their shit together in time like TPS did also they are much bigger and can probably absorb what will be a smallish loss to them.

I reckon if it has alrady despatched it will be ok- thanks to a PP for the next day delivery tip!

Oh I was too late to the party! I could do with a new foundation brush. I do have a 15% off birthday discount but that’s not enough of a draw for me to get a spendy brush (or anything else really).

On another note, I’m nearing the end of my Medik8 moisturiser which came in the JL winter skin box. It’s nice but I don’t think I’d rush to repurchase, I’ll just move on to the next moisturiser in my stash

Yes, the next day tip is brilliant! I'll have to remember that. I once managed to order the Dr barbara sturm face cream for £25 instead of £225, maybe if I'd paid for next day, they wouldn't have had time to cotton on and cancel it 🤔

That wasn't my haul, I hadn't said what I got but it was 2 of the kayali puds, tobacco and café. Café has poor reviews so I may return and just keep the tobacco. I dont usually blind buy without checking reviews on fragrantica but got carried away!

I don't quite get the Grazia beauty box, it looks like a good deal for a split second - a box worth £252 for a £55 subscription, I mean the Elemis serum costs more than the box. But it's one box per year and the total annual cost of the subscription is £660. Do I want 26 magazines of shite and one beauty box for nearly 700 quid?

I'm not a massive foundation wearer but this is a good deal for 2 brushes, foundation and blush one. I know WG is not everyone's cup of tea, and this sale is a result of another drama and company dissolving but his brushes were always well regarded and the natural bristles ones are Japanese made so the quality is there. Few were also on sale at Debenhams but this duo is particularly good value:

@DidILeaveTheGasOn I think it’s £55 every six months, so £110 per year to get a beauty box once a year and the magazine every 2 weeks. I guess worthwhile if you actually read and enjoy the magazine.

My cult beauty orders are with Royal Mail - which sounds promising until you factor in what I said yesterday about Royal Mail 😂 But they have left a warehouse anyway!

How much do you really want the other kayali? Could you just refuse delivery? Or could you get to a shop to smell it before you open it? I wasn't able to cancel my first order, so if they do send it, I'm hoping to refuse it 🤞

I'll just send the one I don't want back, luckily bought on klarna so I'll only pay for what I keep and has buyer protection if they don't refund. I recommend Klarna for this very purpose!

Ooh I like the LiB box. I really shouldn't buy it but I really want to... does anyone have any of the products that they either love or hate to swing me either way? I've been wanting to try the laneige bouncy & firm lip mask, nothing else I had on my wish list but most I wouldn't mind trying out

I've only just started buying on klarna, it was great for buying all the advent calendars in August and September 🤣🤣 but before Christmas, I also used it to buy an outfit from Joe browns but bought 2 sizes of the jacket. I sent back one of the jackets the day I received it, but they've taken ages to process the refund that my 2nd payment is due, I informed klarna yesterday that I've returned it and they've taken it off the amount owed so I only pay for what I've kept. I think I'll use it more often 😍 it means I can keep track of returns better.

@JoRaRaRa My cult beauty order has also shipped but will arrive tomorrow. Should be next day delivery but it’s my fault - I made a mistake in the payment details and had to correct this morning. But at least it’s not cancelled!

I don't really get the hype with the Laneige lip masks. A lot of people love them but I've tried them and to me they're just fine. I wouldn't buy a whole box based on that.

The LiB boxes often get further reduced after a few weeks. The odd time they sell out quickly but if you're happy to risk not getting it I'd hang on and see if it's reduced by 30% at some point in the next month.

There's a good chance a WG brush will be in my Beautylish mystery box due later this month. They usually put either a Sonia G or WG brush in every box. I really want a SG one but I wouldn't be mad about a WG brush, I've also read they are good brushes.

I've a few of WG brushes and they are really nice (I havent got any of the older styles, just most recent ones). Ive checked beautylish before Christmas and wanted Sonias brushes but there were just too many to chose from (though r/fude is a gold mine of reviews..) so I went with WG instead, mostly because between his own website and Debenhams they were all on decent discounts. I'm only lurking here, but I thought I'll share a deal for anyone looking for good makeup brushes 😀 also, can't wait to see what's in your beautylish bag! I remember years ago them being a massive rage on reddit.
