Help. I am seriously considering buying some Crocs...

I am off on holiday abroad in a month and am seriously thinking of buying a pair. I was thinking that if I bought a 'decent' pair I could travel in them then wear them on the beach and to breakfast etc and only have to take one other pair of shoes to wear in the evening.

Am I mad or is there a better alternative?

Skechers do really comfortable flip-flop / sandally shoes

prideand predjudice - they won't hurt or rub, you will never get a blister, to try them is to love them.

Crocs comfy and lovely. Birkies comfy and lovely too. neither particularly stylish for most stylish people but hey feet are happy.

I agree with mom2oandh As a wearer of both birkenstocks and crocs - the crocs are without doubt the most comfortable. They are also the only footwear that has not caused me any discomfort or blisters at the wearing in stage...

Sod it, I'm going to order a pair. I will have to conceal their origins from a couple of friends of mine who are commited croc haters...

I have both Crocs and single strap Birkis and the Crocs win hands down on comfort and practicality. The Birkenstocks are prettier, though.

Yeah! I love my crocs, my SD loves her crocs, my DS loves his crocs and even big daddy bear loves the size 13 ones.

Comfiest shoes ever invented and great for the garden. They did me proud at Hampton Court last year, all I had to do was hose off the mud.

Crocs are OK for children, infact they are great on my 2 and 4 year olds, but please not for adults. Even on the most slim and elegant of individuals they look hideous. Don't do it!!!!

Fluffybitoffun · 16/06/2008 08:49

Sheesh, some of you really are vain.

Couldn't possibly be seen in a really pair of practical and comfortable shoes because they are not stylish.

What load of old toss.

DeeTee1000 · 20/06/2008 21:05

I like crocs as they make my bottom look smaller I do feel a bit embarassed walking with my 4 yr old who's dad bought him ~"red ones coz they matched mummy's"!
Be warned - they are bummer on stony ground/beach as they let the stones In. Great on a sandy beach coz they let the sand Out!

I like the idea of crocks, but my one year old wears them. I highly recommend Fit Flops though, very very comfy....also they work out your leg and bum while you walk
