How many bags do you own?

I have 5 and just wondering why in earth I need 5 bags!

15 but 12 are in the dressing up box for the granddaughters now.

2 handbags - one everyday, one smart

3 evening clutches - gold, black, vintage leather

A whole load of nylon fold up shoppers and canvas totes but guessing you don’t mean those!

34 but not sure all counted...

A few years ago I had 12, now I never use a bag as I always have DD and her baby bag so I downsized and only have 5 that are never used but can’t part with

Four.

I only use two of them.

Tan, dark green and chocolate leather big slouchy ones for every day with room for a bit of shopping.

Smaller navy and brown leather ones for smarter times.
Navy, dark green and tan camera bag type mainly used at night or on holiday.
Pliage used on holiday etc
A couple of beaded/sequin black evening bags.
So that’s about a dozen. No designer or brands. I use them all. Can’t remember the last time I got a new one and feel I don’t need any more.

5 handbags, a tote bag and a camping backpack.

1 work bag, 1 everyday bag, 1 evening bag, 1 rucksack, 1 gym bag… so 5

Brown shoulder bag
A navy, a black and a brown crossbody each with handles so can double as handbags
Brown and cream crossbodies
Gold clutch
Small burgundy and small cream micro bags for evenings or occasions
Black mock croc work bag

So 10 in total. Definitely don’t need any more for the foreseeable.

I have a load of bags but really only use 2 - work rucksack and camera bag for every day. The camera bag is looking tatty and needs replacing with something updated.
What smart bags are people wearing instead of camera bags these days please?

I think a small rounded leather bag with a top handle and removable crossbody strap is a more modern alternative to the camera bag.

Or shoulder bags in general over crossbodies. Or woven bags seem really popular.

If you asked my DH he would say “too many”. And tbh I don’t actually know the answer. I have a handbag problem and I would probably guess I have 30 or so, maybe more. Tbh if I counted them I wouldn’t be surprised if there was as many as 50. A lot of them have been in storage since we moved so I only really regularly switch between a Vera Bradley crossbody and a Valentino large tote at the moment. Hopefully next year I’ll be having a huge wardrobe gut-out so I can get out everything I have in storage and swap things round more.

How do people with big boobs cope with cross body bags..... Asking for a friend......

Sorry for the derail. I have one big slouchy bag for shopping, a smaller zip up for quick trips and when I need more security, and a small summer back pack. Would love a cross body, but as above, not sure it would sit right.

I have 5 Uniqlo cross body bags

I have large tan leather tote that fits my laptop for work, a smaller black shoulder bag for non-work smart things, a burgundy Uniqlo crossbody for every day and a small cream and gold bag with a chain thst I bought from primark about 15 years ago for anything fancy. And 46,000 canvas totes

One small one. I have a rucksack for work. Several totes from various museums & galleries! A Lucy & Yak tiny bag to carry my card, phone and keys. I’m looking for a bigger handbag actually, big enough to carry a laptop.

I think about 2. One work bag, one rucksack and about 8 small going out/holiday bags.
More than enough but I’m not really a bag person other than when required - ie carting my crap to work.
Day to day I never use a bag at all, I hate them!

1. I use 2 of them. Just the crossover and the big leather tote. But I might go back to using a handbag next year.

Probably around 50! Could be more tbh. Bought a new one a couple of weeks ago 😂I love bags, they’re my weakness. I had a generous ex that bought me a fair few designer ones. I figure if I ever need money quickly I can sell a few.

I buy vintage Coach bags and have quite a collection.
For everyday use, I have:

A Frédéric T Paris black leather bag for funerals and tea with the Queen.
A Rebecca Minkoff large black leather tote.
A Margot brown leather, medium sized crossbody.
A small black Fossil crossbody - used nearly every day.
A Le Sportsac black nylon tote, really old and durable.
A small brown Coach camera bag, crossbody style, casual weekend use.

About 20... ish.

The secret to a crossbody bag and big boobs is a long enough wide strap.

I recently followed a woman to baggage claim at Heathrow to ask about her bag, which has now been added to my Christmas wish list. Two-toned MZ Wallace, shopper or carry on. And that will make 8 bags for various occasions.
