The highlighter is too dark for me but wondering if I could use it as eyeshadow

I love eyeshadow sticks & this Rare one looks so lovely. I'm Christmas shopping today so think I'll try the Tilbury when I'm out - if I don't like it I can eBay it. I love Tilbury eye shadows but some of their highlighters can be a bit much for me. - My favourite is the Westman Atelier one in Nectar for a touch of grown up gleam.

Does anyone know if there’s a range of CT highlighters in today’s drawer? Mine is in a pink box (so different to the one @JoRaRaRa posted) but might still be the same shade - pillow talk medium?

Might just be different packaging as mine is also scarily dark. However, willing to give it a go!

Ahhh my imposter was spotted 🙈🤣 I bought a different one before I decided to buy the SpaceNk calendar, so when I decided to buy the calendar it was on the condition that I would change the CT wand and sell the one out of the SNK. It's in shade spotlight, which is lighter, but I quite like the gold that you lot have so I might need to go buy it back 🤣

Half a DoD for me. I have had so many of the CT beauty light wands it’s ridiculous - does anyone ever actually buy the things?! The eyeshadow stick I am looking forward to trying.

I’d already done my make up by the time I opened the drawer so will look forward to trying both of these tomorrow. I used the Eve Lom Mask last night and my skin feels lovely this morning. I have a £10 voucher for SNK that expires soon so I may put it towards a re-purchase.

For once I opened the drawer before getting ready this morning so I used tbe eyeshadow, it's lovely and something I would choose for myself. I'll have to see how it behaves till the end of the day.
The highlither may be too dark for me, and from experience highlighters cannot double up as eyeshadows if you have very oily eyelids, they are usually too creamy.
Not a bad day overall. 😌

Yeah, the highlighter would also be too dark for me and I don't wear eyeshadow so today's a miss.

I'll have to stick them with the black mascara and red lip pencil and think of what to do with it all after Christmas since I just don't have the headspace atm.

Love the eyeshadow stick and I really rate Rare beauty, unfortunately I’m in the highlighter is too dark for me camp though!

Looking it up it's a highlighter-blush so may give it a go (although I hate sparkly face products other than eye). The peach/pink version may have been more universal as the Medium is quite dark. Anyway - this is what these calendars are for to try new things although totally loving the effects of Medik8 Liquid Peptides so that's a new expensive habit unlocked.

Happy to try both! I wish I lived in hotter climate as both will be fab during the summer

I am amazed by the number of full sizes in this advent. Skincare - eye cream, moisturiser, two cleansers (one cleanser one balm). morning and evening serum and all high end brands. It really is amazing!

I compared a few calendars to choose the best one for me and one of the criteria was plenty of full sizes. I don't mind sample sizes or minis but I don't want to have too many at once, they don't seem to have a good value and I struggle to use them. I think I chose well, in the end it was between this one and Liberty.

Well today is the first proper meh for me but I will use it in feet elbows and knees.

Haha yes it’s a bit meh but I’ve been won round to toners lately and tbf they’ve given us another product with actives. So far I think we’ve had

Vit C - serum and eye cream
Niacinamide
Peptides x 2
glycolic acid

we should all be glowing by the new year if we use all these consistently as well as our retinoids

This has no place in a luxury calendar.

Harsh! There’s nothing worse than a black eyeliner! That said, if they were going to give us The Ordinary then the new Volufiline serum seems like a better choice. Or the GF15% Solution, perhaps.

To be honest, they had so many full size double doors that they could have just skip this and separate one of them. It's very hard to be disappointed of the advent, the face cream and the two serums, the eye cream are great and the balm is also nice - but this is just meh. Like you said it does not feel luxury and there are so many double days - it would have been better to divide them to two doors.

But they may want to keep estee lauder happy. I think they own the ordinary

I wasn't aware Estee Lauder owned The Ordinary, but you're right, that might explain it's inclusion in an otherwise luxury advent calendar. Not a product for me and not sure whether there will be a market for it on Vinted.

Well I'm fine with it, but I like The Ordinary and I'd rather than have something less fancy but that works and which I'll use rather than yesterdays (which is neither use nor ornament to me).

Like a PP I think it'll fit in well with the other stuff we've had (cleansers, serums, eye cream, moisturisers), but mine will have to wait a bit because I'm halfway down a bottle of that pink Glow watermelon one .
