I’ve put in the hair pin and, gasp, like it! I am quite shocked tbh!

Not sure if I will get on with the serum though. I think I’ll have the same issue as @Talisin and it’ll make me feel like my hair needs washing again, or it will just look limp.

today is bit meh for me but as usual I will give the products a try.

Why purple??!! I actually love these hairpins. But I last wore a purple hair accessory when I was about 8 years old. Again - why purple? 🤷‍♀️

I rember in the original advertising image of the advent the hairpin was gold, and then a week later it was changed to purple!

I will give both a try...

Mine are going straight into DD’s stocking. I have no interest in either of them.

The calendar started off so well, but peaked too soon. Hopefully there’s some more nice surprises there.

I'm excited about the Dyson. I sold the hair pin and added in the K18 volume spray from the sephora AC and the vinted seller added in some nail polish, so I popped that in the drawer too, although I probably won't use it. Strange how there's 2 hair days in a row though 🤔

I'm looking forward to trying the serum despite swearing we'd never have anything from Dyson in the house - I have long, wavy hair which frizzes and I was going to keep it down today for warmth because I'll be outside at the carols.

WTF I'm supposed to do with a purple plastic hairgrip I have no idea. Had it been gold I would have probably worn it 😳

Looking forward to using the Dyson, it was one of the items I wanted to try in the calendar. I have the heat protection cream and really like it.

The hair pin looks like a piece of plastic crsp you'd get in a cheap cracker. No idea how you are supposed to use it. And annoying that the original calendar advert was for the gold version which looked much more robust and usable.

I've been wanting to try that free Manicurist nail varnish you received. Great box, with the K18. I think I'll do what you did more practively next year!

I will use the Dyson serum, but i think today is the first day im not as excited by. And as for the hair pin, i think the little bag it came in will come in more useful for me🤣

Every day is a school day - at least I have now learned that it is possible to pay £30 at SNK for a box of 3 plastic hairpins!

Hmm, tried out the hairpin but just seems to fall out of my hair after a while. Not impressed by it all. Certainly wouldn't pay £30 for a pack of 3!

I don't know who Fiona is and how did she get to be in such major stores with something that costs cents to make but fair play to her. She can sell!

I used the serum today and it smoothed my hair beautifully!

I’m really pleased with the hair thingy… I’ve had cheap ones from Amazon… but I’ve found they snap quite easily as the plastic is quite brittle, so I’m looking forward to trying this out and seeing how it holds up over time.

Anyone who really likes the hairpin thingy there was a bigger, more substantial one in the Vogue advent - expect quite a few of those will be on Vinted.

Just watched a video on how to use ‘The No1 Hairpin’, as Fiona F refers to it, every other sentence. I bet she hates that everyone else inevitably refer to it as a hair thingy 😁

Catching up with the thread and the calendar, I actually have tbe dream coat from colour wow and it works well to tame the frizz. I'm happy to try anything from the brand.
I have no idea how to use today's hair pin, I guess I'll have to research it. As for the Dyson product, I'm not sure I want to use anything on dry hair it may weigh it down, maybe just on the ends?

I tried the colour wow mask (gave the dream coat to a friend) and like it. My hair likes protein and hates deep conditioner so I think that’s why it worked well

Very pleased with today’s treat, been wanting try this for a while.

Oh no, I got my dates mixed up - thought it was the 15th! Oh well, it’s two great days for me then. I’ve used this cleanser before and really like it.

I bought the Vogue hair pin and matching claw clip on Vinted. They are excellent. The hair pin is far better than the weedy little purple one from yesterday's AC.

I'm looking forward to trying the cleansing balm. I do already have quite a few cleansing balms in my stash, so it'll probably be 2027 by the time I use it 🙈🤣
