I loved that candle. I can’t remember the brand though.

Yes I ended up really liking it. Used it in the kitchen.

Pinkyporky · 15/12/2025 19:39

Well I didn’t like the tomato candle so gave it away and a friend then gifted me a tomato candle from a different brand for Christmas 😂

Sunshineo · 15/12/2025 20:11

@AlPaccacino I’ll let you know when I dig it out!

WildLeader · 15/12/2025 20:32

I used the serum and hair cream from today, it was timely as my Philip Kingsley serum from a previous beauty box has just run out. I think the cream actually gives a better finish than the OGX stuff I usually use

I’m enjoying the perfume samples, the LBTY one is divine

i bought this advent calendar with my beauty box balance when I realised that almost £300 of voucher wouldn’t buy me anything I wanted in the store.

this liberty advent calendar is a one and done, but it’s fun tbh. 😊

TragicMuse · 15/12/2025 21:05

I loved the tomato candle! It was a lovely smell when lit, really gently floral…I tried for another on eBay and Vinted but sellers wanted a ridiculous amount for them.

notnorman · 15/12/2025 21:41

The hair serum today is amazing on my hair!

I think it was Aery. I picked up their diffuser of the same tomato leaf in Anthropologie as I also loved that candle we got in the calendar. Was that last year or two years ago now? Love that scent on my kitchen shelf.

No spoilers but I LOOOOOVE this and would very happily do any swaps if anyone isn’t keen! Please please shout ☺️

Ds & Durga I don’t know what today. I’ve never used a perfume topper before! I’ve popped it on by itself and really like it, it’s quite soft. Would be really interested to know what people who have used it over perfumes think, how does it change them and which ones have worked well with it?
it says this
With no real heart, but a selection of soft, neutral notes that are renowned for their subtly transformative powers, I Don't Know What elevates your chosen fragrance – a perfume, an essential oil or any other wearable scent, giving it extra oomph, pizzazz and sparkle. Uplifting notes of bergamot, iso e super, vetiver and ambrox will infuse an aroma with crispness and light, gracing you with a new, true signature scent.

Sunshineo · 16/12/2025 07:19

@2025istheyeari thanks for that, I sprayed it but hadn’t realised it is a topper! Will try it again once I’ve sorted myself out.

RoseTeaLady · 16/12/2025 07:49

I wear it on its own. It’s lovely. Has so much more depth and interest than Molecule 01, for example.

I agree. I blind bought molecule a couple years ago and really don’t love it, so have stayed away from that family of perfume since then. But I absolutely adore this. Have only tried it by itself so far, but for me this is the definition of skin but better.

As I said above - if anyone wants to swap please let me know. Would very happily swap the Granado one for this but also open to other suggestions. Thanks so much!

EdinaMonsoon · 15/12/2025 08:00

@imp2007 How do you use the Larry King product in your hair care routine? I have fine hair too & can’t bear hair spray so interested to try a cream.

I only use a small amount so it lasts ages - I put a little bit in through the lengths when hair still damp. I also often use it after styling to give a bit of hold and definition - again apply sparingly.

Ilikeyoursleeves · 16/12/2025 08:03

Morning! I already have this from an AC last year so would happily swap it for the Ex Nihilo if @spoeke or anyone fancies doing that? It’s a lovely perfume / enhancer but I’ve barely used my other one and I really love the Ex Nihilo!

PuzzlingRecluse · 16/12/2025 08:06

Morning I’m not sure about this one, not sure I’d use it really. I’d also happily swap for the ex nihilo blue talisman as I love that 😍

AnnieFrancais · 16/12/2025 08:14

@2025istheyeari I am so glad you said that, I didn't realise, never heard of a perfume topper before!

redluckycat · 16/12/2025 08:27

I’ve tried today’s by itself before trying layering and I really like it.

I’ve also tried the Larry King finishing cream and really like that too; I only apply my curl product when my hair is wet so this works well for the second day when I don’t want to wash my hair, I usually just spritz with water to refresh my curls but adding this is working well.

The only thing I haven’t tried is the serum and eye masks. I think I’m going to stop using my current serum (which is lasting too long!) and start using the one from the calendar, so I can use it alongside the moisturiser. And my eyes are in need of the eye masks, so I’m going to try them soon.

PuzzlingRecluse · 16/12/2025 08:54

Oh the serum & eye masks were so good ❤️

I’d Also swap this for either of those 😂

I find it fascinating how we all experience scent so differently, I’m really enjoying trying them all even if half haven’t been to my taste. I don’t live near anywhere to try perfume & it’s not something I would usually buy.

AndeanFlamingo · 16/12/2025 09:04

H3lloMums · 15/12/2025 10:12

@AndeanFlamingo - what do you mean use it as a serum?

I just use it as a hair serum rather than an oil because it's not actually an oil.

imp2007 · 16/12/2025 09:23

Ooh todays sounds fun and really interesting - we are still away so will have to wait til I get home to try. @Netaporter thanks for the info on the sixth enjoyed reading that - although we have got a lot of fragrances they are a bit more interesting and fun than the norm.

nearly61 · 16/12/2025 09:24

I'm so unsure about this one - I love JHAS not a perfume which I think is maybe supposed to be the same but I'm sure I've tried this in store before and just couldn't smell anything. I'll have to have another try out in town later!
Used the Larry King yesterday and was really pleased with how nicely it left my hair after blow drying, so that's another win for me.
Looking forward to trying the hair oil today as well though is does smell really very sweet to me -might be a bit too sweet.

StarShapedWindow · 16/12/2025 09:36

The hair oil is super sweet but I found it more pleasant once it was in my hair - I guess it was less intense

LancreWowhawk · 16/12/2025 09:38

I'm another one that's never heard of a perfume topper, so I'm wearing it on its own today today's offering in its own today. I'll try it with one of the other AC fragrances tomorrow (probably the Granado, as I wasn't completely sure about that one) and see what I think. I can't see me investing in the full size of this one, as I generally only buy perfumes that I like the smell of, so I can't think I'd want to change them. I'm interested to find out what the effect is though!

underthehawthorntree · 16/12/2025 09:42

My drawer was empty today!!!!! Not happy! What's the email address to send a complaint?
