Hi, if you have the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar or are just interested in what’s inside, then please feel free to join in by posting your thoughts on each day’s contents.

If you have swapped out any doors, you can either skip a day here or just tell us what you have swapped in and why!

As is ‘usual’ on these threads, please try to avoid revealing each day’s contents before 7am UK time.

CS fine with me, sending me a new mascara. Ignored my sore lips issue after using the TM lippy.

Same as with @Iwishihadarivericouldskateawayon then @Chickydoo - if they ignore it, they can pretend they don’t know!

I’m wondering if the replacement mascara will be any better 🤷‍♀️

I’d be happy to swap the perfume. The Vrayo was my favourite and Bibbi my least so more than happy to swap if your up for it, just drop me a message!

Really quite shocked that many of you are having a bad experience with customer services, Liberty are usually really helpful!

Luckily I haven’t had any issues this year and am really enjoying the calendar. Favourites so far are the lipstick, the body oil, the moisturiser and today’s perfume but loving trying new products.

Love that you have three ACs on the go! I have this one and a chocolate one this year (Ferrero Rocher).

I haven’t even had a reply about the claggy mascara. I complained on the form on the website. Is there another way to contact them?

I emailed via the website a couple of days ago and got a reply tonight saying that they'd send a replacement out

Hi @Circularmadness , can we leave comments on the contents to after 7am. I know you haven't said what's in the drawer, but your post made me anticipate disappointment before I'd even opened mine.

Thankfully I wasn't as underwhelmed as you were.

Everyone will have a different view on contents! Happy you are happy with today’s - to each their own. I understood it was just content before 7am, hence I hadn’t mentioned specifics, but fair enough. Didn’t mean to be the harbinger of doom 😂😂

I am delighted with today’s! Feels very generous to me.

Again I wouldn’t have tried and am excited to do so.

I’m always happy to try new things to tame my curls! I’ll use these alongside my usual products, as finishing products.

This is my first luxury BAC and in previous years when I’ve been on other threads it’s been part of the excitement of opening the calendar. I am finding the tone on this thread quite depressing at points in all honestly, with the negativity. I loved the perfume yesterday but then there were people calling it ‘horrible’ and ‘terrible’ etc. Not to your taste maybe, and yes you might think it’s horrible but…I don’t know, maybe it’s just me. I think it’s fair enough saying a product doesn’t work for you and you’re not keen on it.

I agree @redluckycat . The annual opening has never been this sour before.

I had to check that I had the right drawer! I’m eager to try today’s although might wait until after work.

Is the Larry king the same one that we had previously? I’m especially looking forward to trying the argan oil.

I use the Maria nila head and heal shampoo and conditioner and the larry king rosemary hair oil already!
Chuffed to be able to try these!

Regarding Liberty not answering emails: They state they respond within 24 hours but Ive been waiting since Thursday for responses to emails regarding soemthing I ordered from them to use up my voucher from last year, theat didn't arrive even though it says its been delivered! Their CS used to be so good: My mascara is non existent and one of the perfumes was only half full, is it worth even writing? I really like 3 out of 4 of the perfumes but 4 is too many surely?!

If it’s the perfume where others said the same, I think it was supposed to be that full, as it was only supposed to be 7.5ml in there.

Definitely not just you @redluckycat , I've found the moaning about the number of fragrances, and the calendar being a bit shite for a minority, has spoilt the vibe for me. I've thought about unwatcuing the thread due to the negativity.

I researched BAC's and chose this one for it's contents, I'm not keen on everything, but will swap, pass things on or sell stuff I don't like on Vinted.

Very happy with the hair care products today. I have spent a small fortune on hair care products which haven’t delivered, finally discovered a brand that works & have been reluctant to invest in anything new since then.So this is a great opportunity for me to try something new.

Quick question. Would you use them both together? It seems to me that they essentially do the same job but differ in the formulation ie cream vs oil? Or would you use the oil on wet hair & then apply the cream once dry & between washes? I have very fine wavy hair if that makes a difference!

@redluckycat exactly the same thought crossed my mind last night too.

I hardly ever repurchase things from the calendar but today's Larry King product is one that I have done so pleased to have it - it's a great product and even better for me as DH dislikes spray hair products so perfect! Not sure about the oil I've got very fine hair so may be one to pass onto DD.

@redluckycat I agree with you. This is my first ever BAC (& in fact the first AC DH has ever bought for me in 27 years!!). I look forward to opening it each day and even if it’s not a product I like, it’s still has value either as a swap, to sell or regift. And I’m enjoying reading the beauty chat because it’s something I don’t know a lot about.

I don’t know but it just doesn’t seem to be in the spirit of the season to be so negative. Fair enough for those who have had allergic reactions or substandard products (my mascara is terribly clumpy!) but the general tone is beginning to feel a bit moany.

I agree about the tone of the thread, I think you’ve expressed my feelings well here too.

@imp2007 How do you use the Larry King product in your hair care routine? I have fine hair too & can’t bear hair spray so interested to try a cream.

I didn’t get a reply when I contacted them about a different product but received a replacement
