Hello, Love the scent of the Mirror Water, would anyone want to swap theirs for my Zepherine perfume which is.not my jam at all. Thanks

I'll swap with you. Fo you want to PM me?

redluckycat · 12/12/2025 09:08

I can’t wait to try today’s, I like the glass bottle. The travel size retails for £27 on the Liberty site.

I always apply more (body and face) moisturiser than is probably necessary because I don’t like it when it sinks in completely and I like the feeling of product on the surface, so body oils suit me!

It did cross my mind to wait until my legs are going to be on display as it says it creates a nice sheen, however I would be wearing sunscreen on those days anyway, so I might as well enjoy it while my skin really needs it.

Re the post above about facial skincare: we’ve had a cleanser, moisturiser and serum so far.

EdinaMonsoon · 12/12/2025 09:09

Very much looking forward to trying Mirror Water. I love using body oil both after a shower and to pour into bath water. For those asking about how to use, my advice would be to use only half the amount you think you need and apply to damp (not wet) skin. I would only apply all over the body if I was getting into pjs afterwards rather than getting dressed. Wrap yourself in a towel or bathrobe and allow the oil to sink in & dry naturally (5 minutes should be more than enough). Exfoliating during your shower will speed up this process as your skin will drink it in.

Can I ask a question about the eye mask patches? Which way do you put them on your skin? Is it smooth part on the skin? I couldn’t see that on the directions but assume so….

Hicupping · 12/12/2025 09:37

I don't think it matters, I put it smooth side for better connection with skin?

Yeah, I stupidly put them on the other way around and ended up with honeycomb eye bags.

NatalieNatalieNatalie · 12/12/2025 09:46

Loving most of the products so far except the curry shampoo which I’ve given away, and the two later perfumes - Ex Nihilo and Bibbi. If anyone wants mine, I’d be happy to swap for anything else bar the aforementioned hair abomination.

Growlybear83 · 12/12/2025 09:57

I’m pleased with today’s oil. I’m really enjoying the Liberty calendar this year because I took out all the make up, cleansers, and masks thst I knew I wouldn’t use and replaced them with the things I kept from the HN calendar. And I’ve forgotten everything that is left anyway as it’s been so long since the calendar arrived 😆😆

Oh no!! I'm laughing because this is EXACTLY the kind of thing I do 😝

EdinaMonsoon · 12/12/2025 10:10

Any fans of the Ex Nihilo perfume? Happy to swap for anything else except for the MZ moisturiser, the lipstick or the Sisley toner (I already have another of these coming my way courtesy of another poster :) )

Ok now I don’t feel so bad admitting I did the exact same thing last night and had honeycomb marks under my eyes there for a while!! I did think about it and decided ok must be the grippy part to go on the skin to cling on better 🤪 I realised after I’d made the wrong call!!

PuzzlingRecluse · 12/12/2025 10:26

I’d love to do a swap for the blue talisman perfume, I ❤️❤️❤️ it, I can swap for the sixth perfume or something coming up in the calendar?

TreesinthePark · 12/12/2025 10:38

I assumed honeycomb was to grip the skin too!

PuzzlingRecluse · 12/12/2025 10:42

I’m happy with today’s, I love a body oil. I don’t find it greasy at all. Really light & easily absorbed.

so far I’m really happy with the calendar.

redluckycat · 12/12/2025 10:42

Thanks for sharing the honeycomb eye stories, hopefully I’ll remember not to do the same when I use them! 😂 I did get out eye masks that I already had and use them.

LancreWowhawk · 12/12/2025 10:49

I'm pleased with the oil - I get very dry skin in the winter, and this will feel more luxury than slapping on the Aveeno!

I was going to try it this morning, then I realised it said to apply to damp skin, does anyone know if that actually matters?

I'm trying the Ex Nihilo fragrance today, initially it smelled of candy floss, I'm interested to see how it settles.

Yay!! Let’s see what comes up over the weekend first but in the meantime I will try the Sixth again - I have completely forgotten about it!

Housewife2010 · 12/12/2025 11:52

I'm really enjoying the calendar and love getting body products. I love body oils but opened my calendar after my shower this morning, so haven't tried today's yet.
Perfume calendars have been very popular the last three years, so I reckon that is why Liberty decided to increase their perfumes. I really hope they do the same next year. Although I love skincare, there is a limit to the number of moisturisers or serums I would have open at the same time. I won't be opening my Emma Lewisham one for a while. I open the perfumes immediately - as long as they are kept away from heat and light they will last for ages.

IlovePond · 12/12/2025 12:41

Hi, I have started using oils after a shower quite often as my legs are becoming very dry 🙀 I only do so when I am getting into pjs afterwards and I avoid slipping by putting it on whilst standing on a bath mat.

This oil does come out in a gush due to the lack of a pourer, so be careful.. One of the Cosmopolitan YouTube presenters poured half of it down herself during their Xmas a/c opening video. It was quite funny and I gave them credit for not editing it out!

Is the Sisley toner any good? I usually use clarins as Sisley is out of my budget

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 12/12/2025 16:16

I really like the Sisley toner. It doesn’t dry the skin like some do

I'd happily swap for the Vyrao? I like it but can't see myself reaching for it often but would wear the Ex N a lot I think!

H3lloMums · 12/12/2025 16:34

I must be one of the few who likes all the perfumes so far! I've also decided that I'm going to use the empty lib calendar to make myself a January advent with the unopened perfumes I have accumulated from Beauty Drop/perfume edit!
And, yes I've found out already that the opener of the oil bottle is pretty wide and so it gushes out!

redluckycat · 12/12/2025 16:41

I used to buy the Lancôme blue hydrating toner - the large 400ml bottles because I loved it. I used it (and the cleansing milk) faithfully for years before discovering that the much cheaper hydrating Garnier toner is just as good (imo)! I also switched to their cleansing milk. I spend a lot more more on serum and moisturisers but basic cleansers and toners work just as well for me (or better - the cleanser from this calendar is drying on my skin). The Sisley toner is nice, but no more hydrating for me than my usual cheap one.
