Hi, if you have the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar or are just interested in what’s inside, then please feel free to join in by posting your thoughts on each day’s contents.

If you have swapped out any doors, you can either skip a day here or just tell us what you have swapped in and why!

As is ‘usual’ on these threads, please try to avoid revealing each day’s contents before 7am UK time.

It definitely doesn’t smell of pee on me! (I hope anyway 🤣🤣🤣)

Happy with more perfume and so far I’ve liked all of them. I think I’m the odd one out though! I chose this BAC as I want to use more perfume as until now I just use same old one until it’s finished. I love the layering idea and different scents for different outings and moods. I also find I want something stronger now as I’m moving into my 50’s.

Mine is similar but I think it’s right as 7.5ml isn’t much at all.

I really like it now I’ve been wearing it for a while, it smells totally different to when I first put it on.

I gave my thoughts after the comments about the last perfume, but I agree that it’s sensible to check contents before spending this much on a calendar, and no it doesn’t spoil the surprise, as you can buy them so far in advance that most of the contents are likely to have been forgotten by the time advent arrives.

Another one who loves all the perfumes, this is an everyday one for me and so far it’s lasting well (unlike the previous 3!)

I absolutely love the Vyrao one, it’s become a bit of an obsession, and luckily it was also in another advent calendar (cult beauty?) so there’s lots on Vinted.

I love the Vyrao, got it in a CB box a few months back, wasn't expecting to based on notes.

Can anyone recommend any mist bottles for toner decanting. I know i could use any old spray bottle from boots etc so just thinking aloud. Toners are funny as I never know if they do anything. I have others with exfoliation however so nice to have a plainer/hydrating one. Onto today, I really like this perfume. Agree feels nostalgic. And, also funnily today Thought oh that person smells nice and realised it was me! I knew there was high proportion of perfumes when buying as also studied the contents - it almost put me off buying but thought would e nice - and have now completely forgotten the details so all nice surprises.

I bought this as I had beauty drop credit. I did have a moment when I saw there was so much perfume but I bought it knowingly, tried each of them and sold the ones I didn’t like/ wouldn’t wear and replaced with things I would. I’m not sure that for me it’s as good as last years at the moment, I loved the Mz eye cream, Byredo lipstick, Lisa Eldridge eyeshadow, dr sebagh rose serum, and Skin Rocks moisturiser, and that we got essentially a whole skin routine, but I guess there’s still time! I’ll withhold judgement and I do like the fact there are different brands and I get to try things I probably wouldn’t spend this amount of money on. I considered Space NK and John Lewis but didn’t think there was as much in there that was ‘special’ so for now I’m happy and hoping for a few more bits of skincare and make up over the remainder of the calendar!

Hi, today’s is one that I practice sprayed in Liberty before buying the calendar. I didn’t hate it, but didn’t like it either - didn’t smell much of anything to/on me. I will use it up, but without enthusiasm!

I still haven't tried today's perfume on my skin but I sprayed a little onto some watercolour paper (nearest weight I have to one of those test cards) and it smells very sweet & cloying to me. Be interesting to see how it rounds out over time.

In praise of the longevity of the Zephirine perfume: This morning I put on a jumper that I last wore a week ago & has since been hanging in my closet and the perfume is still lingering (in a good way). Very beautiful.

According to the Liberty website, Blue Talisman notes are:

• Top Notes: Bergamot, Ginger, Mandarin, Pear
• Heart Notes: Orange Blossom, Georgywood
• Base Notes: Akigalawood, Musks, Ambrofix

I'm definitely getting lots of pear & mandarin but nothing of the ginger & bergamot.

It’s our Christmas party at work today and I didn’t want to use today’s perfume in case I didn’t like it, but I’m looking forward to trying it tomorrow.

I finished the last of the cleanser this morning and while I didn’t like it enough to justify the cost, it did make me think I want to try something new. So I’ll be on the hunt for something similar but cheaper!

Too much perfume this time around. I wouldn’t mind so much if I shared the tastes of the Liberty person picking them.

Of the 4 we’ve had so far, 3 are listed on Fragrantica as unisex and 1 as a man’s perfume.

Why do Liberty think that a beauty advent calendar, marketed to women, should steer so far away from more feminine fragrances? It is an odd choice which is going to put me off repurchasing (having been a regular buyer for years).

I’m surprised that the fragrances are listed as unisex/masculine as I think they are all very feminine. I think the selection has been lovely so far and I’m looking forward to the others thst are still to come.

I'm into strong and manly smells so for me it's ok. But Liberty perfumes are certainly very specific and not for everyone's taste. I was suggesting my husband I can treat him to Liberty perfume but he doesn't want it as it just too weird. And I do agree with him

I really love today’s perfume-perhaps more than Bibbi.

I tried to palm Vyrao off onto my husband but he wasn’t a fan. I do like the first one we got, but I find it too strong for me.

Totally agree. I’ve had the Liberty Advent Calendar for the past 10 years and will definitely check the contents before buying again.

I like today's perfume I love ginger and do get that coming through on me. I also loved the one from this brand in last years calendar although that was a much more summery scent, I do like perfume but agree would enjoy some lovely skincare now too, maybe also some make up as the lipstick wasn't very exciting - real non event on me even with lipliner underneath. I love a candle too - maybe they were put off after having to refund last years!!!

Candles are a DoD for me - I don’t use them at all.

I agree quite often with the beauty drop Liberty send samples and most often unisex. I've got dear Polly / ghost of Tom through it and both she'll very alike and like aftershave! I thought these were pleasantly more female than men in the calendar - Which is the mens?
