I’m planning on putting it in a spray bottle when I’ve finished my current hydrating mist. Use it after cleansing before I put on serum then moisturiser
Using a mist has made such a difference to my skin. If its feeling dry I do another layer between serum and moisture

PuzzlingRecluse · 10/12/2025 09:02

Would anyone like to swap the mz moisturiser for the Sisley toner? I can’t see myself using it all. I think they are similiar value

fitflopqueen · 10/12/2025 09:27

Today’s toner isn’t something I will use so if anyone would like to swop for any of the perfumes let me know.

LancreWowhawk · 10/12/2025 09:36

I’m a bit meh about the toner. I haven’t used one in about 20 years! However, there’s so much enthusiasm for it on this thread, I’ll certainly give it a go.

I also tried the MZ moisturiser today, and blimey it was lovely! I’m not sure I could make myself spend £165 on a full pot though!

Yes please. If you mean you want to get rid of the toner and receive the moisturiser? The moisturiser doesn't suit my skin at all. Sorry, fried brain this morning and wanting to check I understand your request!

Yes that’s right, I’m looking to give the toner & receive the moisturiser, can you pm me please if you fancy swapping?

You don’t need to. It’s vastly reduced at TK Maxx. There are several MZ products available.

Oh! Very interesting! I might have to mosey down to TK Maxx at lunchtime to investigate. Thank you!

The website is a better bet.

IlovePond · 10/12/2025 11:54

I am keen to try today’s toner but I have lots of EL’s to get through, (I bought one huge bottle, then got another free as a GWP). I will fit this in after my current one is finished.

Re: MZ - I will definitely be checking out TK Maxx - thanks for that tip @BIossomtoes

However, I will only buy one item at a time to try, as feedback on MZ from another thread is that some of the products ‘go off’ quickly and I never know how old TKMaxx’s stuff is. (And usually it doesn’t really matter.)

That’s why I am planning to start using the MZ moisturiser as soon as the eye cream door arrives in my DIY calendar. I don’t want to save it, only to find it’s unusable 🙀

I’m not all that keen on using toner as can’t see the point and that’s why this thread is great as I do like the idea of using it to get rid of residue from make up or face wash.

sorry but I’m laughing at the curry hair comments too!!!

Ilikeyoursleeves · 10/12/2025 12:53

Anyone want to swap something for some chicken korma shampoo??? 🤣🤣🤣

Mejera · 10/12/2025 13:00

I'm very pleased with the toner, it's one I've wanted to try.

Like a couple of others have suggested, I decant my toners into a spray bottle - I spray them on (after cleansing), then wipe off with a reusable cotton pad. I find that gives me better overall coverage of my face as that final 'cleansing' step.

Tempting but...no!!

Buster27 · 10/12/2025 18:20

Perfect timing as I only have a day or two left of my current toner. I'm another that will be decanting to a spray bottle though.

TheCovetedDuchessRose · 10/12/2025 20:32

I am really enjoying this thread and the calendar. My husband buys me a luxury calendar each year and they are always such a treat.

i love the Bibbi perfume but not keen on the other two so if anybody would like to swap one for their Bibbi, please let me know.

Tupperwarelid · 10/12/2025 21:04

Do people really spend £92 on a toner? I’ve spent large amounts on moisturisers and serums but the toners I get tend to be the more cheaper items.

Hicupping · 10/12/2025 21:43

I won't be using the toner it just doesn't interest me. Nothing special. WATER/EAU (AQUA), PENTYLENE GLYCOL, ROSA CENTIFOLIA FLOWER WATER, CENTAUREA CYANUS FLOWER WATER, HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA (WITCH HAZEL) WATER, PEG-40 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, SODIUM CITRATE, CITRIC ACID, FRAGRANCE (PARFUM), PHENOXYETHANOL, POTASSIUM SORBATE, SODIUM BENZOATE, LINALOOL, LIMONENE, CITRONELLOL. IL#3A

Tried the Zephrine again today, thought on first blast it just made it into the keeper column but on second it didn't, it's just too much for me.

LancreWowhawk · 10/12/2025 21:57

Thanks, @BIossomtoes. I've treated myself to an mz skin moisturiser from TKMaxx, though it's not the same one as in the calender, it's the hyaluronic & retinol spf one. That might suit me better as I do prefer an spf in my moisturiser, but it seemed worth trying given the discount. Just a bit worried it will be really old, as @IlovePond pointed out.

Oh well, too late now!

I bought one too. I can’t see how it would suffer from aging if it’s sealed.

madgreenlemons · 10/12/2025 07:31

I really like the Bibbi and haven’t enjoyed either of the other perfumes- if you haven’t had any other takers I’d be happy to swap for Zepherine

Have sent a PM!

Sunshineo · 11/12/2025 07:05

Not sure on today’s but will leave it a bit to see how it settles.

TreesinthePark · 11/12/2025 07:31

I have this perfume already as it was in the recent Liberty Scent Beauty kit (can see I ordered 23rd Oct).
Fortunately, I do like it so I'm happy to have a spare but there must be a good number of us who bought the kit and advent. Seems strange to repeat so close together and is almost a 'spoiler' for the advent akthough i didn't remember when I opened the kit.

Ilikeyoursleeves · 11/12/2025 07:31

Today’s is a perfume called Blue Talisman by Ex Nihilo. Just tried it on and first impressions are I love it! £260 for 100ml!!! So this tiny samples (7.5ml) is £22.10!)

This is my fave perfume so far, shame it’s the most £££ one lol

This is my most liked perfume of the ones in the AC so far but it’s not a love just an Ok. I will see how it develops on me during the day. I’m still hoping for a mascara in one of those boxes!!
