I like today’s perfume, it smells green and spring like to me.

AlPaccacino · 04/12/2025 10:53

Ugh. Just no! I smell like curry now. Totally minging on me 🤢

Housewife2010 · 04/12/2025 10:56

I like today's scent. So green. It doesn't seem to last very long though.

LancreWowhawk · 04/12/2025 10:57

i like the perfume more now it’s settled but it took 3 hours and I just don’t want to wait that long, so it’s still a no for me.

Snowplop · 04/12/2025 11:36

I'm a bit late to the thread. This is my first ever Liberty, and indeed luxury, calendar, having tried so many of the cheaper ones over the years. So far I've loved the serum and today's perfume which I sprayed liberally on DP and pronounced it to be perfect for him! He doesn't usually wear scents but this suits him really well. The cleanser is nice but nothing special and Zephirine is looking for a new owner on Vinted - I tried it in Liberty a few weeks ago and knew I didn't like it on me so I wasn't surprised and I'm glad that drawer was so early on. If anyone wants to swap Zephirine for today's Vyrao please let me know.

H3lloMums · 04/12/2025 12:26

Well Ive been wearing it a few hours now, it's not too strong now which I prefer, I dont like continually catching whiffs of the perfume I'm wearing! I really like the scent now. So day 4 is a keeper! And, I'm sure I dont smell of curry 😅

fitflopqueen · 04/12/2025 12:40

4 out of 4 so far for me, I haven’t used either of the skin care products yet, the cleanser has gone in my wash bag for travel and the serum will be opened shortly.
As someone has already commented, don’t save stuff for special occasions, use it. I wear perfume everyday even when out in scruffs walking my dog (so loving these 2) and my watch which is now 31 years old is down to pennies per day in terms of cost with daily wear, had I saved it just for going out occasions it would still be pristine in its box and i wouldn’t have had such pleasure from it.
Enjoy life and little pleasures everyday you don’t know what’s round the corner (2025 has been a bit grim in our family)

Tupperwarelid · 04/12/2025 12:46

I'm much preferring today's perfume to the one on Monday. It's not quite as heavy on me.

Buster27 · 04/12/2025 13:55

I have a self-imposed ban on opening new perfume (have to finish an open bottle first). I'm SO intrigued by the differing reviews of this, but I'm not caving. Probably because I'm down to the dregs of another bottle so know I don't have long to wait 😂

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 04/12/2025 14:25

I’d rather they space out the like products over the 25 days. I’m not a fan of the perfumes so to get another one so soon was disappointing personally

jay55 · 04/12/2025 14:38

I like the perfume. Happy with that.

Caramelandsalt · 04/12/2025 15:22

Last year I bought a beautiful notebook and pen , the plan was to record a little note about every fragrance I tried , (likes, favourites , dislikes dry down summer , winter etc) from beauty drops , edits, calendars etc. I didn't do it and I am cross as so many have been and gone that I can't remember what they smelt like . I'm going to do it from here on in though.
That was a long winded way of saying I like today's.

IlovePond · 04/12/2025 17:11

Well, I love the bottle - it’s so cute! Sadly, on me the perfume smells like a particularly disgusting herbal tea advent calendar I got one year from H&B - like ‘gone off’ dusty tea powder 😿

Btw: I’m grateful to whoever mentioned tea upthread because it was driving me mad trying to think what the smell reminded me of.

It’s odd, because when I first put it on, I didn’t mind it one way or the other. But now it’s absolutely awful.

I am always fascinated by the way that, not only does perfume smell differently on different people, but what we like varies so much. It’s almost impossible for me to take perfume recommendations from other people because one person’s love is another’s hate!

I can’t even rely on always liking a particular ingredient - for example, I usually like vanilla scents, but when I sprayed myself with Vanilla Phlur I actually exclaimed aloud at its sheer vileness and had to scrub it off, (much to the amusement of other people in the shop). Interestingly, I loathe all Phlur perfumes, so I wonder if there’s a common base ingredient in there that I really dislike🤷‍♀️

The Zephrine is a rare example of a perfume that I don’t ‘mind’ one way or the other. I’ll use it, but without enthusiasm!

3 out of 4 for me. I gave the serum to mum as I have tricky skin. She loves it. I really like both perfumes, especially day 1, which I had before in kits. The Sixth is much nicer for me than Mamajuju in the last scent kit, which I gifted. So far so good. Between mum and I, I think a home will be found for most things. I have stuffed it with extras from the drop box and GWP, so there is definitely enough for her.

Seagullstopitnow · 04/12/2025 18:20

Tried it now, I like it, but it's not for me
The other half normally gets one out of my calendar every year, looks like today was his day!

redluckycat · 04/12/2025 07:49

The Liberty page about the calendar products says it’s 10ml.

I’ve got some on and I really like it!

Although when I first saw the green box and read what it says on it (‘for mindfulness and intuition’) I thought it was going to be an aromatherapy rollerball thing!

I did too!!! I was very pleased when I opened it and realised it was perfume!

Was the bottle cute ?? I've maybe opened the wrong drawer

IlovePond · 04/12/2025 18:45

Maybe cute was the wrong word - stylish? I liked it, though - I am disappointed that I didn’t like the perfume.

I might be up for a swap, im not keen on the Vyrao but I thought the liberty one was ok. Im seeing friends on at the weekend and if no-one wants it, i would be happy to swap.

This is exactly why I bought the calendar for the first time 2 years ago. Lost my mum, spent a lot of money as a distraction. That year I had the Liberty and the Cult Beauty calendars. Lovely! Still using some of the products now. I also subscribe to the Liberty beauty drop and I look forward to those so much! Little luxuries, used everyday is great value.

You are an icon.

I couldn’t do that. I love perfume and have expensive tastes but I wear a perfume daily and alternate. Currently in use is Chanel, Dior, Vilhelm and Grenado. I’m a junkie and cannot be cured.

Errrmm - there are a lot of fragrances in this calendar (one of the main reasons I bought it). So actually this is about as spaced out as it’s gonna get! Sorry.

notnorman · 04/12/2025 22:34

I’m a day ahead and I’ve already posted the item from tomorrow on Vinted.
its a bit niche imo!

So what do you guys think? I woke up to feed the baby around 4 and opened it. It's not the colour I would usually go for but it's very wearable. Plus I like how dark it appears. Very hydrating as well. Will try it later on today properly with a pencil on as well 🌸
