I need some cords - I’ve fallen out of love with jeans and I’m hunting for a nice pair of cords if anyone can recommend any nice ones please? Not geography teacher style mind you. 🙂

If anyone can share tips on how to wash and dry cords without getting big white lines all over them I’d be most grateful. I’ve pretty much given up because of this.

Happened to me the other week when I left them in the drier too long. Since then have either hung dry, or taken out of drier slightly damp and hung them, making sure they're smoothed out and all sitting straight. Never ironed them.
They're M&S wide leg patch pocket ones but don't seem to be in stock any more. Have a bit of stretch, plus the back pocket is big enough to keep my phone in it whilst chasing a toddler around the floor...

I’ve been living in the Uniqlo ones, so comfy. But they are for sure the least stylish look i have. I do sometimes worry I have given up when I wear them - especially when combined with a woolly jumper,

I have a couple of outfits like that I justified for wfh days but of course they are so comfortable they have crept into supermarket trips etc and then even lunch out with DH! '

They are exactly as you have described and I am now going to call them my "have I given up" clothes!

I just hang dry cords. An aga rail is perfect if available.
