Here’s a thing - cord trousers

I need some cords - I’ve fallen out of love with jeans and I’m hunting for a nice pair of cords if anyone can recommend any nice ones please? Not geography teacher style mind you. 🙂

Boden has various styles of cord trousers. I don’t usually shop there but just purchased a pair of Primrose cord trousers - lovely heavier weight corduroy.

M&S straight leg, look and feel amazing at £30

I got ones from Mango. Love them but they're very ling, I had to get them taken up. I wear with some heeled loafers.

They are actually corduroy.

I'm not a fan of cropped trousers in winter and these are nice and long.

I was in Next supposed to have been shopping for sister in law and I think I spotted these . Have you washed them - do they need to be ironed ? .Are they true to size and what about the lengths please?. Hope you don't mind me giving you the inquisition :)

i have the regular and the leg length is perfect- I am 5’5”

I have these ones in two colours. Wash very well, absolutely no need to iron, which makes me very happy! I’ve basically been living in them for weeks
My only criticism is that, although my black pair are the perfect length (I have long legs and buy most of my trousers from Next because their longer length fits me really well), the pink pair are a bit longer, so I keep treading on the ends. Very annoying!

I have some straight legged ones from Monki. I wear them to work as they are smart as well as warm.

I’m very fussy about cords and have bought this season the Cos barrel leg in navy which are great. Size down. The Toast panelled ones (not Gabi) are good too but not really worth the price IME, so I’m glad I found these Cos ones.

I live in cords at work. DH buys them for me second hand on eBay. M+S boot leg style, worn with Timberlands now that Blundies have got fashionable and therefore expensive.

I bought Mango . They're really nice - I have both the navy and the burgundy (nearly sold out now).

I got some gorgeous high waisted , wide leg cords from M&S. they are SO comfy and flattering. I love them.

Wash and dry inside out. Turn them right side and use a hand held steamer. Brings the pile up nicely rather than ironing them flat.

I live in these barrel leg slightly cropped ones from next. They come in 3 colours, I've got 2 of them. They're inexpensive. I find them more practical than wide leg. Although I've also got some wide leg ones.
