On a related note: Youngest adult DS is visiting Japan atm. I gave him pics of Japanese makeup as possible Xmas/birthday presents. Instead he sent me a picture this morning of what looked like a giant cartoon character set of scales, asking in all seriousness if this is what I would like for Xmas. I was working so have only just seen it. I know it’s the thought that counts, but I will have to practise my happy face in advance of him probably having already bought it 😹

This is such a ridiculous bargain that I had to buy it. I really need to stop buying beauty products but it would just be silly to turn that down!

StyleKorean’s site is working now, but still glitchy, so I will leave it until tomorrow to decide if I am going to buy that edit.

Exactly. I did say I was going to chill on the edits but I'd mentally made an exception for this as I use the Crystal Retinal and inc my voucher it was £33 for the box which is less than half price of the CR.

I don't dare buy anything else from cult beauty. First there were multiple issues with missing credit, then a parcel got damaged (they told me they'd cancel it so I reordered from somewhere else, then they told me they were resending it argh), now today's latest problem is an order has arrived and it's a completely different item to the one I ordered! I haven't had a single order from them in the last 6 months that hasn't involved a conversation with customer services. Must resist even if they have amazing offers, I always end up regretting it!

@owlpassport@OvaHere I agree it is such a good edit and have been keeping my eye out for it. I am also excited to try the Anua as heard good things and my skin is prone to some hormonal break outs at the moment so hoping this helps.
I am surprised it hasn’t sold out did the Medik8 and even the Charlotte Tilbury is worth more than the cost of the box.

If you're after an azelaic acid the Q+A one is great. I've got the Anua and I think it's suits younger skins. Anua isn't soothing whereas the Q+A is effective and soothing. Cheap too. I'll give the Anua another go but I've also got the Paula's choice one from this years advent and I prefer the Q+A to that.

I bought the Skindulgent edit, I have been using the Fig 1 retinol and it’s running out and I would like to try the Medik8 retinaldehyde. Do you find it very different to traditional retinol products? I got it for £20, had the £15 voucher, £5 “credit” from that order we all had to manually request, and then £5 credit from status points.

Does anyone have spare empty Cult Beauty stockings? I am making them up with snacks and treats for kids.

I had a £5 recycleme voucher and £5 of points so I jumped on a Pat McGrath lip liner - I wore lipstick yesterday and it bled a little. Plus, I like lip liners! A tenner off, felt like a bargain!!

I thought about the CB edit but I have so much in my stash and want to whittle it down over the next year so I behaved!

Has anyone ever used the KVD dazzle sticks?Or could you recommend an alternative? Online it looks like you get good colour pay off but I wondered if anyone had firsthand experience using them.

CB have the worst customer service and I've stopped ordering from them despite the tempting bargains. It's not worth the stress of weeks of chasing their Customer Service.
