SOTD yesterday was Guidance 46 - not very wintery/christmassey but my absolute favourite scent of the year, got a sample from small aroma’s after sniffing it in Selfridges maybe 2026 will be the year I can afford a full bottle…..

Vyrao 00 works really well in the type of climate you’re in too. Don’t buy it if you’re coming back 🤣

SOTD/evening is Discotheque ‘Heathens’ which has massively grown on me. I ended up with 2 CB stockings so I’ve got a decent supply for now.

My CH mystery boxes collectively yielded a decent range of things. I’m pleased with the haul which for me was much better value than the AC and there are no men’s items. I won’t list spoilers in case someone is thinking of getting them.

Merchant of Venice 'Andalusian Soul' - argh, it ends on a nice soft booze-vanilla dry-down but the journey to get there is the burnt plastic vibe that I get with 99% of vanilla perfumes. Havering about whether to stick it on Vinted / see if anyone here wants it.

SOTD is All Night Until First Light by Discotheque. It’s a strong citrusy fragrance, right up my street. I’ve bought a FS using the CB money off a spend and got a free 8ml Lola At Coatcheck. That’s going to be my last scent spend for a while. I need to organise and start rotating so I get maximum use out of my collection.

SOTD is 21:50 Rêverie by Victoria Beckham, I am a vanilla fan so this is perfect for me.

Brompton immortals today ,it is a lovely scent. Spicy with a hint of vanilla, just up my street

Me too, it's beautiful 🤎 In fact, I've got it on this evening. I wore rude oud this morning, which I also love.

I need to be brave and open Rude Oud. I've dithered for months over whether to keep or sell.

I can’t get on with Rude Oud, there’s a note I really don’t like.

Sotd was Chanel Chances Splendide. Fruity floral. Sample.
Was ok but wouldn't buy. I had to respray after an hour. I dont think i put enough on. 🤣

SOTD is Saltworks Ile Rouge (a sample from one of their Discovery Kits) It’s warm and spicy and perfect for a chilly day, but had to top up after a few hours. Wouldn’t buy.

SOTD the other room - smells of grown up luxury - slightly old fashioned like I’m in a 70s play

Got the travel size of Sana Jardin Vanilla Nomad in the space nk sale. Thought I Heard SJ are going out of business, which may be why SNK selling it all off, this is one of the few I like from SJ, sandalwood temple being ok-ish and the rest I didn't get on with, so thought I'd snap it up.
It's a vanilla but not a sweet one - I wouldn't even say spicy but herbal/medicinal to my nose. I do quite like it although wouldn't wear it every day. Maybe a mix between vanilla and freshy/astringent type perfumes which is quite unusual.

Guidance is lovely as are a lot of amouage, oh but the price tag!

I bought 50% off Myth Ellis Brooklyn in the SpaceNK sale. I am tempted by one of the pleasing scents as it's 30% off plus I get 10% back being deluxe member.

Using up samples for the next month (or however long it takes!) Today is CH Good Girl Supreme. Fruity, woody vanilla. Lovely for a chilly day. Discontinued apparently, so no point falling in love with it.

SOTD is Delina pdm. Nice and long lasting so far 🥰

SOTD is Diptyque Duelle, lovely scent and enjoying it. I trying to use up all my samples, before @paristotokyo moved I was the very lucky recipient of a number of samples let alone the ones I have picked up so have decided to work my way through them to reduce the number I have.

That was on my to try list before I found out it got discontinued.

SOTD have been oud for greatness- this is a saffrony oud, lovely, light on the oud.

Also D and G Devotion - got a 10ml spray from Sephora at a reasonable price.

Went through all my travel size perfumes today (I mainly have 10ml sizes) and reorganised them into really like/like a bit/don't really like and chucked a lot of the latter category. I still have over 50!
